A nine-year-old boy in Kokomo, Indiana, pointed a pellet gun at a suspect’s head and stopped an alleged carjacking the day after Christmas.
According to WTHR, Kevin Cooksey pulled up to the One Stop Express and went inside, but he left his son, Larry Larimore, in the truck with the vehicle running. Looking at the truck from inside the store, Cooksey noticed that his door had been opened and became nervous. He said, “When I saw my truck door open, I was like, ‘oh my God, what am I going to tell my wife?’”
It turns out that a man allegedly attempting to steal the vehicle opened Cooksey’s door, but the theft was stopped when young Larimore pulled his BB gun and pointed it at the suspect’s head..

ReplyDeleteThey wouldn't have been a target to begin with if the engine wasn't running.
ReplyDeletethere's one logic, though not where I'd place blame
DeleteLook, with subfreezing tempretures in Indiana, I don't blame dad for leaving truck running for his boy to stay warm, so your point is clueless. And the boy deserves the medal for his brave action. It could have ended way worse without the gun. But Im sure liberals don't want to hear that, they are more worried about their "gun free zones".
DeleteKid deserves a metal. 9 years old and bigger cahones than 90% of adult men.
ReplyDelete@ 9:51 He was going to rob and assault someone better this kid with a gun than Grandma
ReplyDelete9:51....you are a moron...the point is whether the truck was running or not....IT WAS NOT HIS TRUCK TO TRY AND TAKE.....damn Libtard....
ReplyDeleteGreat story but the boy must be careful at school the teachers all know he likes guns.
ReplyDeleteThere are laws against leaving your car running unattended, written for a purpose. This was the purpose.
ReplyDeleteDon’t give me your liberal BS! Cops and city officials around here do it all the time! If the piece of trash that tried stealing the truck in the first place was kept in jail (I’m sure this wasn’t his first carjacking) maybe this kid wouldn’t have had to do such a brave thing and deserve credit for being strong to do what he did.
DeleteMost people in Indiana probably have guns and leave their vehicles running except in Indianapolis.
ReplyDeleteNo problem with the kid's actions or the outcome, but the dad was irresponsible to leave the engine running and by not telling the kid to lock the doors until he returned. Vigilance and taking regular precautions could have avoided this altogether.
