NFL legend Tony Gonzalez doesn’t think Colin Kaepernick will ever play in the league again.
“He’s done. I don’t think he’ll ever get a chance. Never again…I just don’t think he’s good enough for the headache,” Gonzalez told TMZ Sports as he fought back a smile.

ReplyDeleteHis career had peaked, but he would likely have found another slot, possibly as backup or for a bad team as the starter...until he made himself toxic to a great many fans. And since fans drive revenue, at home on the couch, at a bar, at shoe and jersey stores, and at the stadiums, the owners took note. Viewership, attendance and revenue not previously locked up are in a free fall.
What owner in his right mind would chance losing their remaining fan base for years to come by signing this fragile character?
