7:00, I was eating at Ruby Tuesdays in Fruitland when that train came by. He was going faster than 5 MPH. I would have thought they would slow down coming into Fruitland, let alone Salisbury. An hour later we drove by the scene at Carroll Street and police were still there but rescue already gone.
Haven't heard anything from WBOC yet , apparently they haven't seen your blog.
ReplyDeleteI assume you are their favorite reporter .
The trains through here don't go any faster than 5mph and blow their whistles/horns before every crossing, so how is it that people get hit by them?

ReplyDeleteThey pass out on the tracks.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a suicide attempt.
ReplyDeletePray!!
ReplyDeleteMore than likely one of the homeless people that Barrie Tilghman, Lore Chambers and Jim Ireton invited to Salisbury with Open Arms.
ReplyDeleteIf so he probably was drunk and passed out on the tracks like Frankie Bousta did.
Regardless this person needs our prayers.
9:21 No, he needs a wheelchair not prayers.
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't homeless. Name is Herbie Wolcott. Lost both legs. Still touch & go. No one knows yet what happened and why
