ReplyDeleteHow does oil(spill)? Did a weld break or did someone open a valve that they shouldn't have,I just don't understand how this could happen if the pipe line was designed with a real high safety factor. It seems to me that it is human error and should be avoidable. Maybe it's just me but I think all pipe lines should be above ground so they could be inspected on a regular basis.
ReplyDeleteAnybody ever watch the aftermath of the bombing of Pearl Harbor? All that oil dumped into the pristine waters of Hawaii. Seems to be ok now. Maybe nature has a way to deal with a substances that naturally occurs on earth.
