Al Franken's days are numbered

Sen. Al Franken, who was just outed on a photograph wearing a big smile and groping the chest of a journalist while she slept, is now facing growing calls — many, from within his own liberal-minded ranks — to resign.

This, as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Minority Leader Charles Schumer both agreed to put Franken before the ethics committee fires for review.

His days are numbered.

  3. Senate ethics committee has investigated 630 instances of sexual assault and have never removed a senator so don't put any faith they will remove Franken.

  4. Franken is safe; asking to be investigated by the Senate Ethics Committee was a brilliant move on his part. He knows the Committee will harrumph, obfuscate and delay for a minimum of 18 months before anything is actually investigated. He also knows the Senate has not expelled a member since the Civil War, and never for any actions by someone before they became a senator. He knows he is safe from us peons.

  6. And as we speak Franken has his own army digging up dirt on everyone calling for his removal.Any way you look at this it's 2 steps forward and one step back. There are so many indiscretions committed by his peers that this is a lose lose anyway you look at it.We have a bushel of pots calling the kettle black.

  10. Since it's very clear that Franken was elected by voter fraud, he should go.

  11. Some have always said that Washington and its' pols are just like Hollyweird and its' actors/actresses.

This seems to strengthen that theory while both have similar charges. Don't ya think?
