There Were Not Seven Murders In Salisbury, I Was Wrong

There were seven people charged with murder.

While I had stated we hadn't confirmed the information, I was wrong. We are not afforded the convenience to speak directly with Chief Duncan, Sheriff Lewis or Mayor Day, our source was inaccurate and got the numbers wrong.

I have spoken with the States Attorneys Office and confirmed the seven people have been charged and once again, NONE of the information on the murder has been released by the Salisbury Police. As mentioned in my earlier article, the investigation is now being handled by the State Police.

My original article was wrong, I hope you can forgive me for my mistake, Joe Albero

  1. Joe, I like how you own up quickly, apologize and delete the post. That's professional. Everyone can misunderstand.

  3. At least you have the grapes to admit it unlike CNN or the other MSM. The truth will set you free.

  4. Still, we admire your aggressive pursuit of the facts when nobody else is doing it.

  5. Joe, the good you do far outweighs any mistake that you may have made. You posted the correction - again, you are more transparent and honest than those who "lead" us. Thanks for all you do.

  9. 4:59, No, you are wrong. It was seven people charged for one murder. One person stabbed the victim but all seven played a part in the crime. This is confirmed.

  10. It would be nice if the LEO agencies would issue press releases rather than trying to hide the facts.

  11. I should add, there were several other statements I had made in the original article aside from my mistake that are also factually true. I may consider re-posting it with the proper changes.

  13. Joe....Thank you for the articles you publish. I think that it is wonderful when people want to know about the goings on in their town. This shows they are involved and committed to making the place a little better. I fail to understand when people immediately attack as in your article about the Sheriffs Release. People who are trying to help are not people with nothing to do.....they are concerned and their heart is in the right place.

I don't understand why information of statistics is so difficult to come by in this town. Am I mistaken Joe and this was just a slip up or was this information intentionally covered up for some reason. I am proud of the fact that there are non emergency numbers that people can share information with police and I hope and pray that the police are not as small minded as the guy who just thinks people are just causing problems because of time on their hands. I have always thought the sheriffs office was deeply concerned about the community....at least the sheriff.

  14. Yeah they sweep things deep. The man that buried someone in a yard in fruitland reportedly went to court recently no public report on how much time he received.

Funny, I recall the sentences he received. Most were suspended and then probation after doing his time. I forget exactly how much time but it was only for several years, and that was for burying the body and something else. No murder trial or anything like that. Seemed to me like a slap on the wrist.

Well the press release you mentioned is from the sheriff's office.

The problem is with the Salisbury Police Department and Boi Mare Jake Day and the murders occurring mostly in the Ghetto 'Bury.
