Hey NFL, Taking A Knee Is An Insult To ALL Americans

13 comments:

  1. The players mistakenly believe that they are exercising their freedom of speech. They need to learn that they do not have freedom of speech at work. None of us do and neither do they!

  2. Flash THAT picture on the Big Screen at NFL games while the players kneel.
I hope these players get cut and end up with part time coaching jobs for girls softball.
    And stone cold broke.

    1. There was a 30 for 30 documentary on this. Something like 75% of former players over 35 and out of the league before 2000 were living below the poverty line. Absolutely incredible.

  4. I know right. Gotta love that "freedom of speech" nonsense. No kneeling during the National Anthem while you are at work is not freedom of speech. The employer can fire you, suspend you. Freedom of speech prohibits the government of coming after you and not your employers. Dumb thug National Felon League criminals.
Dumbed down products of the US "education" system can learn something all day long by coming to Salisbury News.

  5. You can bet the kneelers and their supporters are clueless and didn't even know prior that not standing while the flag is displayed and the National Anthem played is disrespecting the country and it's freedoms and the military who fought for those freedoms.
They say no they are protesting injustices. Ignoramuses are too dumb to realize you can both be protesting and disrespecting the country and the military. Just like you can be funny and protest or serious you can also be disrespecting.

  8. That brave soldier died protecting peoples freedom.

The flag and the anthem represent that freedom.

To say that people are not free, that they are forced to participate in shows of nationalism, is only found in countries we call "enemy"... North Korea, Nazi Germany, Communist nations.

Exercising your rights and freedoms is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a man or woman that has given up the most precious thing they have, their life, to protect these very rights.

To say otherwise is an insult to their sacrifice.

I understand your upset, I really do... but all your outrage is misguided.

Remember, when fascism comes to America it will come wrapped in a flag and carrying a Bible.

What you are arguing is not Freedom, and it's not America.

  9. 11:14 yes, that is a great idea. Show photos of Dover AFB tarmac 'receivers' if the players kneel.
Remind them that the land of the free is allowed because of the brave.
