In a tweet Tuesday, Women’s March said, “here’s a list of organizations working to keep immigrant, Black, Latinx, & other communities safe after Hurricane Harvey.”
Twitter users immediately chided the organization for not focusing their crisis donation efforts on all Americans rather than just select groups.
Does that mean they are not helping caucasians? How is this not reverse racism?

Not reverse racism at all. It's ordinary racism.
ReplyDeleteYes 11:53!! Thank you!
DeleteRacism is racism.
Never understood that "reverse racism" BS.
I think this is a response to how previous natural disasters were handled in the past. I.e. hurricane Katrina. The lower income areas and black communities were not provided with the aid they should have received by the Bush administration. Compound that with the fact that the head of disaster relief (Can't remember the name or exact title) had NEVER been in an emergency preparedness situation before.
ReplyDeleteThey were helped. They did not evacuate when told to do so, that's on them.
Delete115 to much information at your fingertips to be this ignorant. Just TRY thinking differently.
DeleteWell i guess we need to make sure no women are helped since it is a womens organization calling for this.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bunch of idiots.
The Women’s March is encouraging people to donate to organizations that specifically help non-white groups after Hurricane Harvey.
