Von Miller Ads Being Pulled After Anthem Protest

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – Broncos linebacker Von Miller may be out an endorsement deal as a result of kneeling during the national anthem.

Before the team’s game with the Buffalo Bills Sunday, Miller was one of 32 members of the Broncos who took a knee to protest what they see as racial injustice in the country.

  1. Good, if they disrespect the nation by not standing for the anthem of the country that gave them the fortitude to make millions playing a damn sport, then take it all away... I would stop supporting the NFL not just the team or players...

  2. 1st amendment rights have nothing to do with Private Industry. Say something that projects private industry in a bad light - YOU"RE FIRED!

Von Miller's kneel down has probably cost him lots of $$$$$ since his "image" or name is associated (via contract) by the Ford dealership in Denver. That kneel down could cause that dealership customers sooooooooo he may not be FIRED yet, but something tells me there will not be a contract renewal in his future!

The entertainers so much so want to express their opinions and have ZERO clue who (the paying customer) pays their way!!! Some have ZERO clue the repercussions of their actions. Scream 1st amendment all you want fools - if the gov't isn't involved it means NOTHING!

  6. The racial injustice is too many blacks on the football teams. I guess they can't SEE that.
