Pentagon Will Pay for Sex Change Surgeries Through Early 2018 — And Is Open to Exceptions After Cutoff Date

The transgender “interim guidance” rules set by Defense Secretary Jim Mattis block additional soldiers from using pro-transgender policies set by former President Barack Obama, but do not repudiate the revolutionary ideological claim that men and women can change their legal sex by adopting an opposite-sex “gender identity.”

The memo also allows an open-ended commitment to cosmetic “sex reassignment” surgeries. It announces that the DOD will continue paying for soldiers to undergo these surgeries up until March 22, 2018, and will allow exceptions after that cutoff date “to protect the health of an individual who has already begun a course of treatment to reassign his or her sex.”

  1. What a waste of tax dollars. The DOD had better things to spend money on than a bunch of mental defectives.

  2. Sex change is not a necessary or life saving procedure it's cosmetic and Frankensteinian and should be illegal.... definitely not paid for by the tax payer.

  3. I want my tax dollars to go to the WALL, not for some snowflake who couldn't figure out what they wanted to be growing up...let alone while in military attire!

We have become a very soft nation and it is truly sad!

  5. This pisses me off and it should not happen at my expense.

If I join the military will they pay for a hair transplant surgery for me since I am bald?

I wouldn't mind adding a couple of inches on my manhood, will that be paid for?

I would like some liposuction done.

What about a tummy tuck for my wife?

    What about Rhinoplasty?

  6. Rhinoplasty is covered in normal health insurance and the USGovt. However, if you have varicose veins that can be life threatening it isn't covered. With paid insurance it is considered cosmetic. Sex change free - really. Kick them out of the service with enough money to cover what they started. God forbid

  7. Tummy tuck and liposuction is covered by Govt and any insurance company. It is called obese and considered a diease.

Sounds like you are supporting tax dollars going to free sex changes to people with mental issues.

  9. Not only are the taxpayers stuck paying for the surgeries but those getting the surgery average 243 working days missed from work. In other words, free surgery and a year off of the job.
