A career criminal who promised to knock out the first white man he saw has been jailed for 25 years after throwing a punch that killed a 62-year-old man.
Lashawn Marten, 44, went on a racist rampage in New York back in September 2013 when he started randomly attacking innocent bystanders around Union Square.
When he punched retired train engineer Jeffrey Babbitt, knocking him out, the impact of his head hitting the pavement killed him.

And you would go to prison or to the chair. For one thing it's premeditated and second, an insanity defense rarely is approved and even then, even more, rare to win. too much tv maybe?

DeleteThis was not only a murder but it was premeditated and a hate crime and he only got 25 years. That is amazing and ridiculous. It should have 50 mandatory day for day or even the death penalty. This is what a White person would have gotten. Even the Judges are prejudice.
