College Park to allow non-US citizens the right to vote in local elections

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The College Park City Council has voted in favor of a measure that would allow city residents who are not U.S. citizens to vote in local elections.

College Park joins six other towns in allowing legal permanent residents and undocumented immigrants to vote in municipal elections.

    Soooo WRONG.

    The Federal Election Commission should be directed to require the strictest voter-ID requirements for any election involving a candidate for federal office (representatives and senators - or above).

    That is why MD quit requiring to see Driver License for proof of address. That has been at least 10yrs.

    They ahve got to be some of the stupidest leaders of a community that there are. The just gave away their sovereignty to illegal non-citizens from other countries. Gee, I wonder how that's going to end. (SAR) Are we going to end up with a little country, within our country?
