There used to be staples commercial a few years ago that had me laughing! They played the Christmas song "It's the most wonderful time of the year" The father was gleefully getting school supplies singing this song and kicking his heels! And the kids had glum looks on their faces! I guess they stopped showing this due to political correctness! I personally don't miss having to get my sons up at 6 am to get dressed, have breakfast and get them on the bus by 6:45. Sometimes the bus came early and I had to drive them to school. Really glad those days are over. Now they have to do this for themselves for work and college.

ReplyDeleteThat was the best commercial! My spouse would always turn the volume up really loud so the kids could hear it where ever they were.
