Police Say They Didn't Find Caches of Weapons in Charlottesville

Contradicting statements by Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, the Virginia State Police say they did not find caches of weapons stashed around Charlottesville in advance of last Saturday's deadly white nationalist rally.

In an interview Monday on the Pod Save the People podcast, hosted by Black Lives Matter activist DeRay Mckesson, McAuliffe claimed the white nationalists who streamed into Charlottesville that weekend hid weapons throughout the town.

"They had battering rams and we had picked up different weapons that they had stashed around the city," McAuliffe told Mckesson.

McAuliffe's comments were picked up by other news outlets and spread through social media. But Corinne Geller, a spokesperson for the Virginia State Police, says that no such stashes were found.

  1. If these groups want to have at each other grant them permits but get them off the streets. Find a parking lot a stadium or an open field and anyone who gives a hoot can go there and hear them or join them or fight them but this is ridiculous. What's next a bomb ?

    1. It's all fake and got out of hand unfortunately someone died. More then likely the driver of the car panicked and floored it. Sad situation for the family. Nazis and college people are the same thing. Fake news. DOJ is probably figuring that out now. Can't hide from NSA.

  3. So it's okay for the BLM idiots to protest. It's okay for the ANTIFA idiots to protest. It's okay for the Occupy Wall Street idiots to protest. It's okay for the Lesbos, queers, and transvestite idiots to protest. It's okay for the womans march on Washington idiots to protest. It's okay for never Trumper idiots to protest.

But when the white supremacists idiots protest that's not okay.

Gee, what demographic is under full attack in this country?

  4. Issue assembly permits for week days only with designated protest sites at the nearest landfill. Both sides amount to trash.

  7. Richmond Legislature is unusually quiet. Yeah, they aren't in sessions, but normally someone opens their mouth. Not yet though.

  8. If you want to be white and supreme in you own mind and to your friends and family and ruling fascist in your own home go right ahead. If you wanna be gay and fabulous in the same fashion go for it. If your a Wheaties Olympian that's gone fruit loops and can afford it. Go for it. Meanwhile some of us have quiet lives. We work, invest and tolerate our neighbors good and bad and pay our taxes and get on with getting on. If we didn't there would be no crazy train for these imbeciles to ride on. We are the sleeping giants. When our livelihoods peace and order becomes truly threatened beyond street dramatics and and divisional falsehoods and obtuse political ideologies. Guess what we too have a movement.

What you are failing to recognize is that the first group accused of being "white nationalists" were nothing more than everyday, hard working Americans who support their heritage. Just like a fool, you and many other dumb A$$es fell for the fake news that is still being spread hook, line and sinker. Most of the "alt right's" that were there were mostly plants by the Left Wing Nuts who had this planned from the beginning when that POS Charlottesville Mare intentionally leaked out that a rally was planned. You people are pretty stupid.
