Newly Announced Gubernatorial Candidate Voted in D.C. Multiple Times While Registered in Maryland
Krishanti Vignarajah, who announced Wednesday she plans to run for Maryland governor, has voted four times in Washington, D.C., while also a registered voter in Maryland, records show.
Vignarajah, 37, an attorney, first registered to vote in Maryland in 2006 at an address in Catonsville. However, she didn’t vote in the state until the 2016 general election, according to her Maryland voting history, which Bethesda Beat obtained.
While her Maryland registration remained active, she registered to vote in D.C. on Sept. 14, 2010, then voted in the city’s primary the same day, according to her D.C. voting history, also obtained by Bethesda Beat.

She's innocent, course. She's a Democrat.
ReplyDeleteShould be automatic 1 year in jail.

ReplyDeleteProbably does not meet MD regs regarding residency based on the article.
Also, she's an attorney admitted to the bar somewhere; her duplicate registrations and votes should be grounds for disbarment on the surface. Beyond that, her registrations may have included perjury statements (don't know). Bet AG Frosh hops on this case!
And her spokesman lamely claiming it's a long drive from DC to vote in MD? Puhleez...Absentee voting.
Her 15 minutes of fame are ticking away.
Just move along...just another crook that's wants a piece of the pie! She announces she's running and in the same day this is discovered!Where do they find these losers!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to vote against her. Any friend is Obama is not a friend of mine! The democrats have already ruined this state. Business and tax unfriendly!
ReplyDeleteMore high jinx from the Party of Liberal Jim!

ReplyDeleteWill Fake Day endorse her and sign up to push her candidacy here?
Vignarajah is another Looney Lib from Montgomery Co! Has nothing to say on how she would improve our state but rails against our President. Another angry Dem still delivering the same BS as Hilary, Madonna, etc. Shameful
ReplyDelete"At the White House, she was a policy director for Michelle Obama."
ReplyDeleteWTF is a policy director for Michelle Obama?? This is definitely government waste.
With a name like that she sounds like a privileged Muslim. More privileged these days than a black person.
ReplyDeleteSep 10, 2012 - Wendy Rosen voted in both Maryland and Florida in 2008 and 2006.
ReplyDelete“The Maryland Democratic Party has discovered that Ms. Rosen has been registered to vote in both Florida and Maryland since at least 2006; that she in fact voted in the 2006 general election both in Florida and Maryland; and that she voted in the presidential preference primaries held in both Florida and Maryland in 2008,” wrote Yvette Lewis, the state party chair. “This information is based on an examination of the voter files from both states. We believe that this is a clear violation of Maryland law and urge the appropriate office to conduct a full investigation.”
Wendy Rosen was running against Andy Harris.
Despite leaving the primary months before the election, Rosen's name legally stayed on the ballot and she got over 30% of the vote. It just goes to show how many vote straight ticket, even if their candidates are no longer eligible, or still alive, for that matter.
ReplyDeleteAnd is Wendy in jail now, or ginning up for another campaign?
