Four cowboys have been cleared of charges of conspiracy to form a self-styled militia to support Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy who was involved in an armed stand-off with federal agents in 2014.
A federal jury acquitted Ricky Lovelien and Steven Stewart of all ten charges while they returned not guilty verdicts on most counts against Scott Drexler and Eric Parker.
All four men were photographed carrying assault rifles during the armed stand-off.

That's called jury nullification!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for citizens with common sense!
Praise God.....that was that evil Obama with that White man crap
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I'll be on the same type jury for any of my brothers who protect their property and lives.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding. Now acquit and reverse all charges against the rest of them, including the Bundy's.
ReplyDeleteJury Nullification, it's called. The BLM was waaaaaay off base with their actions here, and true Americans stood up against them in the Jury Box!
ReplyDeleteWOOOOO, HOOOOO!
Lol, nice!!
ReplyDeleteAs a retired police officer and a patriot,
ReplyDeleteThe only power a citizen has in court against unconstitutional charges, by the government, is the citizen jury. Jury nullification is the power (in the constitution) we the people have against an over reaching government. The jury nullification law, which the government wants you ignorant of, allows you to judge not ONLY the citizen committed of a crime but also to judge THE LAW in which the citizen is charged. The jury can declare the law unconstitutional.
I would have done the same. Government is to help the people not steel and hurt them.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteThe States Attorney, at this very moment, has a serious case of heartburn.
"We, the people" are using that last bastion of freedom, jury nullification, to put these overreaching Nazi's in their place. It's SO scary to the legal system that you are NOT ALLOWED to speak of it in open court in front of a jury. Your rights are officially suppressed by......your leaders. Think about that.
I hope every citizen KNOWS that, no matter what the evidence is -- regardless! -- and no matter what the State's Attorney says is "the law" and what you"must do" (find him guilty), it's ALL political BS.
You can find any person innocent of anything the state says they did. There can be no punishment at all for the juror and no recourse for the state.
Cheer that!!
Two Sets of Laws is THEIR fall back position.
Jury Nullification is ours.
If that isn't enough, we always have the rope. I think we should get to the "rope" part right away, but that's just me.
You can take some more abuse, I suppose.
