Chicago – Chicago Police Department Area Central Detectives are investigating a viral video with three young children brandishing a pistol, according to Anita Padilla with Fox 32.
The video was uploaded to Facebook on July 8th and shows a man talking to a group of three boys.
The man starts out, “I’ll beat your ass, I’m BD.” BD stands for the Black Disciples criminals street gang.
The kids, who appear to be around 6-8 years old, say that they are also “BD.”
The man follows the kids in his car continuing to threaten to beat them. Then one of the kids flashes a pistol.

He will be a future Jaquan and his family will look the other way and say he was a good boy. Smh
ReplyDeleteAnd they wonder why "we" don't like "them"
ReplyDeleteThree young boys getting harrased by a gang member in a car. If your 6 year old had to deal with that day in and day out you might want him armed too. There is no proof on this tape that the gun was used in a crime, but flashing it may have saved them from further harassment or worse. It's very easy to call him a thug because your children don't have to walk in his neighborhood. If they did you might be singing a different tune.
ReplyDelete11:34 My children at 6 years old wouldn't be walking alone in that neighborhood even if I lived there. If it's so bad then where are his mom and dad? Why do they let him walk alone?? Once again excuses excuses.
Delete11:34 here I'm just saying the kid is smart and handled his own ish regardless of his parents poor decisions. The boy is not at fault for the fact that his parents have him outside living in the hood. Obviously he's had to grow up way to fast, but he knows at that age how to protect himself.
DeleteOf course you wouldn't let your kid do that, but if by some freak accident your kid and his friends ended up there and a gang member started harassing them wouldn't you be proud that he protected himself even in such a scary situation?
4:50 OMG You can't be serious?
DeleteBut, instead of his parents, wherever they may be, should be raising him to be responsible, it falls on "the community" to take care of him. I don't think so!
ReplyDeleteMore like Black Detritus.
ReplyDelete11:34, did it ever occur to you that the fact that he is carrying a handgun IS a crime? And you, speaking as a parent wanna be for this boy, to allow and justify this is yet another crime?
ReplyDeleteAnd you wonder why we call you criminals?
Did it ever occur to you that the word "crime"is used to make the word, "criminal"?
No? SMH...
If Obama had a son.
ReplyDeleteOkay somebody please tell me what language the guy filming this was speaking
ReplyDeleteProud of them? Would that be before or after they shot someone over their tennis shoes?
ReplyDeleteA 7 year old KID with a gun?
No problem.
They are full of self control and good judgment.
I hope they try him as an adult (you KNOW that is coming down the pike).
Did anyone see the video of people forming a human chain into the ocean to save young boys from drowning? Did you notice that the line was a line of all colors? This shows kindness and common concern when it comes to the welfare of children. If only we could find a way to get 6 year old children at risk out of the water and decent homes. This world can be color blind at the most heartwarming times....too bad the media is not there to point that out. I guess talking about that fact would be racist? If I were younger I would sign up to foster a child from the inner city and try to change a life. That is what it is going to take. A real family.
