Police investigate death of 4-month-old in a van at a motel in Gaithersburg

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (ABC7) — Police are investigating the death of a 4-month-old girl that happened in the parking lot of Motel 6 in Gaithersburg on Sunday morning.

According to police, they arrived to the parking lot at 10:28 a.m. and found the infant in a car, not breathing.

The infant, Brooklyn Ruth Irby, was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
