Yeah, I've haven't come through there yet without it being red for Naylor Mill rd traffic even when there is no traffic exiting the bypass and it stays red forever. Someone needs 2 adjust the timing, its already an inconvenience and this just makes it worse. Naylor Mill rd has a lot of traffic.Somebody please fix this problem.
Yeah that bs is going to cause a wreck. My wife went through there and said everyone was in a panic trying to get through the light once they realized only one or two cars could make it.
The light at Rt 13 and Deal island rd turns so quick, as soon as the warning flashes the light starts turning. SHA need to adjust the lights there it's dangerous.
Tractor trailers struggle to turn left on Naylor Mill for the detour when cars pull up to the solid white line. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs a new job.
Before long that mess is going to have the worst accident ever. Have you ever been sitting there when a tractor trailer truck is coming up the ramp and needs to make a left hand onto Naylor Mill Rd. They have placed barrels on the side of the road and trucks cannot make this turn without motorists waiting at the light on Naylor Mill Rd being forced to move off the road over to the shoulder of the road someday one of these trucks is not going to be able to make this horrendous turn and somebody is going to get killed because of these barrels. I experienced this one day and I was the second car that was forced to move off the road, the first car had to move over and the one behind me in order for the truck to make this turn. I don't know what the solution is to protecting the lights from being hit but the barrels are not the answer because trucks cannot properly make this turn.
can anyone give me the name of this you tube video? Have tried to find it with no luck...My 70 yr. old father rear ended someone when they slammed on breaks while going through this light...my father said it changed while they where going through...I was not sure if dad was seeing the situation correctly ...but now I know...thank you!

It has gotten to the point if I have to stop at a light for no good reason other than it's just on a cycle, no one around and no one entering the intersection, after I stop and look around I just keep on going. At a red light for no good reason? Ain't nobody got time for that.
6:05- me too. It's ridiculous that the lights are always green for the ramp traffic when Naylor Mill is the favored road. Coming off Rt. 50 and going toward Rt. 13, I sit and wait for the 1st light to turn green, then I have to slam the gas down and make it to the next ramp light green about 50% of the time. Thr other half I'm sitting at a red light (again) for traffic that isn't there.
The one at College Ave and S. Division (southbound) will do that later at night.
ReplyDeleteSense putting up that temporary signal to accomadate the rehabilitation of the bridge to the bypass I avoid that interchange like the plague.

ReplyDeleteThey are not working on that interchange. Why put up the lights so far ahead of the work? What a waste.

ReplyDeleteThose lights were put there for the convenience of the idiots on their way to Ocean City. Nothing like crapping on local motorists.
