URGENT, DESPARATE, HELP

Need host families for four boys coming from Spain 6/30-7/27. In just 9 days they will be arriving and they are homeless. You just need to provide a bed, a few meals, some transportation (which I can help with) and an open heart.

Student # 4 is a 16 year old who loves to play basketball, the NBA and is from a city near Madrid. This is his first trip to the USA and is very excited to come and experience our culture.

Student # 6 is a 15 year old who likes basketball, swimming, the outdoors and music. He is responsible and from a city near Madrid. He is looking forward to coming to the USA and learning about our country.

Student # 8 is a 17 year old who is from the northeast of Spain. He is responsible and likes soccer, swimming, fishing and the outdoors. He has never been to the USA and is looking forward to all we have to offer.

Student # 9 is a 17 year old who likes to cook, travel, spend time outdoors, play basketball and soccer. He is from Alciante and is very happy to be visiting the USA for the first time.

Please contact me for more information or to host. 410-726-7624 or message me. Thanks!

  1. Maybe I missed it. Why exactly are they coming here?

    1. Foreign exchange students. Been happening for years. Students come here (and ours go to other countries) to immerse themselves in a new culture for a short stay. Not sure why they would have travel arranged without a firm commitment in a host family.

  2. How does anyone allow this to happen and why would anyone send their children to another country without knowing if they have somewhere to live. And who knows where these kids will end up.

Who ever orchestrated this should be ashamed of themselves to put 4 people in jeopardy.

    Outrageous

  4. How in the hell can students be coming to the USA without a place to stay. Wouldn't you think that would need to be in place before they travel?

  5. This happens every year. Like others have said, the organizers should be ashamed.

  7. Something doesn't smell right with this. I know families who have taken exchange students and arrangements were made far in advance of arrivals. I would be very leery.

  8. Am missing what town or state they are coming to. Our area could be from Cape Charles to Wilmington. The person who can help with transportation would want the the teens fairly near his/her place I'd say. How long will they be here, why are they coming?

  9. Where is a safe place in the US?
Check with some of the liberal colleges, maybe they will help.
