OCPD Charges Two with Multiple Counts of Theft 6-21-17
OCEAN CITY, MD – (June 21, 2017): Two suspects from Prince George’s County were recently arrested by the Ocean City Police Department after officers found that they were in possession of stolen items from several different victims.
On June 15, 2017, officers were dispatched to the area of 4th Street and Washington Lane for a report of a theft from a vehicle. Officers viewed surveillance footage and broadcast a description of the suspects to officers nearby. Later that day, officers located the suspects in the area of Dorchester Street and the boardwalk. The two were identified as Michael W. Allen, 27, of College Park, MD, and Aitana L. Garrison, 20, of Laurel, MD.
During a search of Allen’s person, officers located multiple credit cards and identification cards belonging to several different people. At that time, Allen and Garrison were placed under arrest. Officers then responded to the suspect’s vehicle in the area of 4th Street and Washington Lane. During a search of the vehicle, officers located additional stolen items belonging to several separate victims.
Allen has been charged with theft scheme of $1,000 to under $10,000, four counts of theft less than $1,000, two counts of theft less than $100, and rogue and vagabond. Garrison has been charged with theft scheme of $1,000 to under $10,000 and four counts of theft less than $1,000. Allen and Garrison were both seen by a Maryland District Court Commissioner and released on personal recognizance.
i bet she's got a nice booty
ReplyDeleteWhat is happening at "the family resort". Say it ain't sooo.
ReplyDeleteWOW nice patrons you have attracted
ReplyDeleteThese are the people the mayor and council want here.
ReplyDeleteThey needed the money for a haircut. Maybe Jake can give em a job. They physically fit right in
ReplyDeleteReleased on personal recognizance. Doubt if they will show up for trial.
ReplyDeleteThe good news is that they are not committing crimes in PG while they are at the Ocean. That's something.
ReplyDeleteIf Obama had a child.
ReplyDeleteWTH is up with all these #1's finding their way to Ocean City these days?? No wonder their crime rate is sky rocketing.
ReplyDeleteThis type of trash was now seen during the Crusin' Weekend. Nor was this type of crime committed.
ReplyDeleteIf you look at pictures of OC boardwalk from the 70's you won't see anyone looking like these two. OC was once a safe fun family resort, those days are long gone.
ReplyDeleteFor all you 'haters' of Ocean City, here's one for you:
ReplyDelete"...a 23-year-old graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy from Pensacola, Florida, was charged with aggravated battery and two counts of battery after he assaulted three [locals]..."
[The perp] was intoxicated at the time of the incident, assaulted a female employee with a plastic pipe, and punched two male employees in the head. One male [employee] received a large gash to his head and the other suffered minor injuries. The female was struck with the pipe on her left cheek and neck and was left with swelling behind her ears..."
Did this occur in the Family Resort of Ocean City?
No.
This took place inside the Family Resort of Walt Disney World. "The Happiest Place On Earth"
Things are going to happen - no matter where you are.
That is true but violent crime is rampant in OC and not so much at Disney. Millions more people visit Disney per year than OC. On a per capita basis, Disney is much safer.
ReplyDeleteThe point is "things happen" everywhere and anywhere, even at The Happiest Place On Earth.
DeleteMy math is not so good... But these two people represent a tiny, tiny percentage (.0001%?) of the 200,000+ visitors in this town right now. Even the daily arrest sheet shows an average of about 20 to 30 incidents a day - almost all "non-violent". Out of 200,000+!
If this is a reason for some to not come to the beach, then good luck trying to find some Eden to spend some down time.
To them I would suggest vacationing in a small, corn-farming town in Iowa. Probably no crime there. Long walk to the beach, though.
Funny......went to the beach today....not crowded....no crime....parked 60 feet from the beach....watched the dolphins play....and no assaults....or robberies....drive by shootings....zero....Paradise...Naples Florida.....not OC....
Delete1156pm, in places like Disney, New Orleans, Key West - those who invoke bad tendencies VANISH from public eye. Here in OC, they are released to continue the bad tendencies.
ReplyDeleteYou do see the difference - yes?
You are correct we camped in the keys this last week...some young adults showed up brought more people than allowed...started a campfire that was against the rules..and they were thrown out....not to return...
