  3. Not an easy job, sir. Thanks for what you do. I agree with you 100% about our President Trump. Haters are going to hate. Heck - the very first commenter had to start his Wednesday off by complaining and you know damn well it won't be the last one of the day (or morning) for him because he knows everything and obviously could do a much better job than you or anyone.

    1. perfect comment 6:01 - some idiots need to stop with the snide remarks like 12:06 made and show some respect to LEO and our citizens in general. 12:06 will you be LYFAO when the terrorist are shooting YFAO.

Good job on the FOX segment Mike Lewis. Now if only the MSM would do more to show respect to our president and our law enforcement this world would be a better place. God Bless America, Sheriff Lewis and President Trump.

  4. Mike said, and I quote "anyone coming to Ocean City must travel through Wicomico County." Really? I guess he doesn't know about Route 113. People from New York, Philadelphia and points north come down Route 113 from Delaware and NEVER come through Wicomico County. Coming from the south, people from Norfolk, North Carolina and points south utilize Route 113 in Pocomoke. Again, they NEVER come through Wicomico County. As a tax paying citizen of Wicomico County, I have a problem with Deputies and employees of this county "working" in Worcester County and specifically Ocean City. With crime OUT OF CONTROL in Wicomico County and one of the chief complaints being a "lack of manpower", how can Lewis justify sending employees, paid for through Wicomico County taxes, to a neighboring county to help solve THEIR problems? Wicomico has our own problems.

    1. I go through Delmar and hit the back way through gumboro on purpose I hate the traffic plus I like to burn one on the way down lol

    2. Cops no back roads are the drunks and pot heads. They avoid it because of the paperwork required and down time. Patrolling with blinders on... just like "white boy hour" starts at midnight in the projects.

  5. I feel so much safer knowing limelight is on the job. What a freakin joke. Yeah isis has moved oc and Wicomico to the top of their hit parade. How about just taking down our local criminals or is that to much to ask?

  6. Remember when he said he was going to "rock their world" (referring to criminals) when he was elected? Just another empty promise from a politician.

  8. "they NEVER come through Wicomico County" Never say never.

Another thing, I feel better protected knowing police can cross county lines if needed. If you are in OC and a serious event is playing out, would you not accept help because an officer is wearing a Wicomico County uniform. Same in reverse if you were in dire need of an officer, would you cuss out a Worcester County policeman for coming to your rescue. Stop nicpicking and thank God for officers putting their life on the line for wherever needed. Your attitude is "I can't help my neighbor who has fallen in his yard because I have my own problem to worry about". Stop and think - neighbor helping neighbor use to be the backbone of the United States. Where are we now - people on blogs whining and being disrespectful to others. This "me first" is a piss-poor attitude IMO and not the way I was brought up.

  9. Maybe he should concentrate on the drug sales occurring in the communities on the west side in Wicomico County.

  10. Maybe during the off season,O.C. and Worcester officers can help patrol Salisbury.

  11. Don't blame the Sheriff for the failings of Salisbury Police. Until they stop thinking pizza parties are the answer, the crime within the city limits will be out of control. How about all the rapes that show up on their crime reports but get NO mention in MSM?

  14. He is such a good republican. Double and soon to be triple dipping from the taxpayers by collecting pensions all the while being paid to travel and earn speaking fees. These Fox news spots are ads promoting himself.

  16. Leave the poor guy alone he has a sickness. Mike never met a mirror he did not love. He is one of the best self promoting people I have met. Say what you will but he has created an image that sells in areas like weekitmeeko county. You know what I mean Vern.

  22. None of what he said is really that bad, except he is talking about Ocean City and Worcester County. You know, neither of which are Wicomico. You know, neither of which is where he is sheriff. How would he feel if a sheriff from another county spoke on television about security at Pork in the Park, Bike Week, or the Shorebirds? He spoke as if he were the Chief of OCPD, or Worcester County's Sheriff. This is very arrogant and narcissistic. It is embarrassing. I am embarrassed for him.

  23. I have seen Muslims on the beach in OC facing Mecca during their prayers. I've seen a bus driver get screamed at by one. They are everywhere.
