Don't I know it. Have to sit through one of those comments tomorrow. Fourth kid.
ReplyDeleteI know I'll draw criticism for this but what the heck..it's Friday.
Why the hoopla about kids graduating high school? Isn't graduating from high school an expectation and not necessarily an accomplishment?
It's basically just another participation trophy.
Hey 2:40...
ReplyDeleteMaybe if YOU had a high school diploma, you'd know you were going to sit through a COMMENCEMENT, not a "comment."
This may be your "fourth kid," but it will be his/her ONLY high school graduation. I hope your "kid" finds a way to take pride in his/her graduation despite having such a loser for a parent.
2:40 PM yea but now they do kindergarten, elementary and middle school graduations too.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, no guff here.
Not where my kid goes to school. They do an awards program and 5th grade promotion ceremony. No talk of graduation at all. That is for after 12th grade.
