While the Mayor and Police Chief claim crime is down, it is only Salisbury News who continues to deliver the public factual/documented information. Mind you, this is what is reported and does not include rapes from Salisbury University or the County.
A guy can walk into a Bank without a gun and rob it and it's all over your local news but when women are RAPED, well, I guess that's not a big deal.
I guess the fact that this Mayor and Police Chief ignore and even deny the almost weekly rapes in Salisbury is what gets under my skin. Their only public comment is that crime is down and what you are hearing from Salisbury News is not true. It kind of reminds me of Hitler.

ReplyDeleteIt cracks me up when we get multiple comments from the Boy Mayors office, (his 6 minions) trying to put up defensive comments saying these are only charges and not convicted rapes. Of course we reject all of them and let me explain WHY.
ReplyDeleteThe mere IDEA that a woman has come forward to the police with a rape charge is critical enough. Leave it to the racist young men to instantly DENY it being legitimate.
This is just part of the reason why so many women do not come forward. The Investigators alone tear them apart because rape is not only an extremely expensive case, it's also the most difficult case to prove.
So to those of you thinking you can come here and belittle these charges, go to hell. I'll add, don't you think for a second that the SPD Investigators didn't make every attempt to make the charges go away. Look at the abuse they gave the elderly woman a few months ago, threatening to arrest her if she said anything more to Salisbury News.

ReplyDeleteSalisbury is not much different than any other community. All have their crimes. What is sad is that it is too late to save any "face"; just another poorly administered democratic led debacle. I don't personally know the mayor but from my observations this guy has no business sense and is more "seat of the pants" pandering to minority groups who have a toe hold. If any sensible voter thinks things are good there they should give up their constitutional right since like other communities, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, L.A., Salisbury is destined for a very poor future.

We cover news across the entire Eastern Shore and we see no other reports of rapes in volume like Salisbury.
Other communities don't have ECI dropping off prisoners once they are released. Other communities don't have a massive volume of family members living in their towns waiting for their spouses to get released.
Do you hear of such rapes in Ocean Pines, Fruitland, Berlin?

Believe it or not, almost all rapes are family or known individuals (date rape). Those won't be discussed by the MSM. I think they should, but you know they won't.

He signed the petition, maybe he needs to look for petitions to do something about the high rape numbers instead of sweeping it under the rugs. If he was as concerned about the rape as much as he is about that marker maybe those rates would plummet!
