A Viewer Writes: The new walk along the river

I have a concern they have a new walk along the river ,with no railing or anything to keep someone from falling into the river ,With the Salisbury Fair coming up this weekend ,I am concern that someone will be in the river, teens pushing each other or someone drinking a little to much it worries me.

  4. but getting shot, raped or robbed does worry you at all? Let's form a committee, get a study done and then hire a company owned by someone's relative to build a $2,000 safety railing/fence for $50,000. We could put a fence all along the banks of the river in the park too.

    1. And yet to obtain federally subsidized mortgage you have to have a hand rail on the two steps into your private home.

  11. I noticed it about a month ago. Also the fake boardwalk is covered with goose poop causing it to be slippery. I have stopped walking there because of the unsafe and nasty conditions.

  14. It appears you all think Waldo might have a problem maneuvering around riverwalk - just tell waldo to stay on the sidewalk and he'll be okay
