Barron Trump to attend elite Md. private school (Plus, where other first kids went to school)

WASHINGTON — Come next September, you might spot a White House motorcade zipping around D.C. on its way to a small enclave of stately brick buildings situated in Montgomery County, Maryland.

First lady Melania Trump announced Monday her 11-year-old son, Barron, will attend St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, a private coed school in Potomac, Maryland, after they move to D.C. this summer.

About 580 students attend the school, which runs from prekindergarten to 12th grade, with an average class size of 15 students. Tuition for grades 6-8 runs about $38,590 a year. Barron currently attends Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

  3. 3:23 pm - so what is your point? Are we supposed to be upset or feel cheated or feel like that is not fair? President Trump has worked his a$$ off for decades and I applaud him for sending his son and last child to receive a good education.

You must be such a well off, rich son-of-a-gun since you did not include yourself in your comment. Well aren't you somebody special! Congrats!

  4. I wish him happiness and success at his new school. It is probably a little tough for him to uproot from his school and friends. Shame on those who can't extend kindness and compassion toward this young man.

  5. OK now.
Let's not allow ourselves to worship Mr. Trump or his offspring.

    Calm down.

  6. Why shouldn't we worship President Donald J. Trump? We sure feel like we're in Heaven after 8 years of Hell with the last failure.Best wishes for the offspring. Sad that some have to live with jealousy.

  8. No it's you who better wake up. obama and those who support him and the democrat party as a whole are very bad evil people. Uncivilized to the very core of their rank sinning bodies. obama didn't look the the devil for anything. Look at the inner cities democrat strongholds. They are experiences the wrath of the Almighty. obama idolizers and democrats better wise up because His wrath will be coming to your home.
God hates democrats because they are very very bad people.

  10. Some of these comments are way off topic. Bottom line is Baron will get a good education and some day perhaps follow in Dad's footsteps. He is fortunate to have the opportunity. Public schools are in turmoil with no discipline thanks to the teacher's unions. My grandkids were pulled out of the public school system and attend a Christian school, what a difference and worth the tuition. No ebonics there, they speak English.

  11. Where Barron goes to school is really none of our business. The country doesn't pay for the President's child's tuition so its really none of our concern. This is the First Family's private business but hysterical media has to blow their wad on the littlest details. Really sad how people eat it up like candy instead of realizing they look idiotic doing so.
