BALTIMORE (WJZ)– A local group is calling on immigration officials to make an exception and release an illegal immigrant after he was arrested in Baltimore.
Since the new administration has been in power, tens of thousands of illegal immigrants have been detained, but there are now protests that good people are getting caught in a drag net.
Protestors in Baltimore brought the pressure to immigration and customs enforcement. They want ICE to release Jesus Peraza.

ReplyDeleteFind where these people live and take the inmates they want released to their home. Tell them that they're now responsible for bringing them to court, and will be held liable for any other criminal activity they may be involved with in between.

ReplyDeleteIf the issue is "keeping the family together" then no problem. Lock them all up or deport them all after they get done with their sentence.
The children, if born here, are US citizens and cannot just be deported any more than you could be.

ReplyDeleteIn 1868, the U.S. ratified the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The first sentence reads: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
Lincoln (1864) and Grant (1868) were both Republicans. Good try.
The law is the law. If they don't like our laws they are free to be deported with this guy.
