Baltimore councilman proposes guns-for-bail program
BALTIMORE —Trading guns for bail is being proposed as a way to cut down on gun violence in Baltimore.
A Baltimore City councilman hopes his fellow lawmakers will consider implementing the program. The program's creator envisions guns for bail as a mashup of a gun buyback program and a bail bonds service.
However, a lot of legal hurdles will have to be cleared before a test run.
More than 100 people have been murdered on Baltimore City streets this year.
We , as a country with Obama leading , have given up punishing criminals. As long as we do not punish them we will be loaded with crime. Posting bond with a gun is stupid.
What has Trump has to do with this? These are DumbocRATs in a DumbocRAT City. Trump would lock them up for having illegal guns and violating Federal Law which MD would never charge them with. Also for ever one they turn in they have five more waiting to be used.
How about a allowing law abiding citizens our god given right to protect ourselves concealed carry now!! Call it citizen justice for thugs program. Now thats a solution that will reduce crime.
