The shift was orchestrated by Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster, who was tapped as Mr. Trump’s national security adviser after the resignation of Michael T. Flynn, who stepped down in February after being caught misleading Vice President Mike Pence and other White House officials about his contacts with Russia’s ambassador.

Breaking News: President Trump removed Stephen Bannon from a top National Security Council post in a move driven by his national security adviser
President Trump reshuffled his national security organization on Wednesday, removing his chief strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, from a top policy-making committee and restoring senior military and intelligence officials who had been downgraded when he first came into office.

THANK GOD
ReplyDeleteIf you want to continue fighting secret illegal wars, then you have to allow the military staff to run the organization (government). We live under the yoke of a military dictatorship, and Mr. Trump will serve the same exact masters as his predecessors.
ReplyDeleteI really liked him.
ReplyDeleteSome things worth noting: the move was not announced. The move restores the director of national intelligence, CIA director and the chairman of the Join Chiefs of Staff to full participation on the National Security Council.
ReplyDeleteSeems Trump is finally going to listen to intelligence.
Like him or not Bannon was a liability to say the least.
Didn't Trump hire the CIA director? When did Trump say I'm not going to have the CIA director Be in charge? I'm missing something... Bannon isn't going anywhere... he will be considered advisor to the President. More power less scrutiny.
DeleteIts a feeding frenzy for the lame stream media right now...pumping fists, chests...CNN/PMSNBC...embarrassing actually.
ReplyDeleteEVERY single President has a few mis-steps at the onset...EVERY SINGLE ONE, but that is ALWAYS forgotten by lame stream.
He still will attend all senior meetings.
