  1. This behavior is unacceptable. I hope that the judge feels the same way. And when he's done, I hope that these two will not be welcomed back to UMES for the fall semester, or any other semester.

  2. Since when does an alleged criminal charge equal expulsion? What planet are you living on?

  3. Shuford will receive a scholarship to UMES, maybe even a statue in her likeness

  5. 11:57PM, what planet are you living on? Since when is this type of behavior acceptable in our society? Expulsion, absolutely yes, forever.

    1. No one said the behavior is acceptable. The student as been CHARGED not convicted. And if they are convicted, what bearing does that have of where they choose to PAY for school? Get a grip on reality, wing nut.

  7. 6:48 AM, Get a grip on reality? This CHARGED person should have learned a lesson way back in kindergarten, do not destroy property that does not belong to you. And who do you think you are calling someone a wing nut, you didn't learn your kindergarten lessons very well either - sticks and stones make break my bones, but words will never hurt me - go back to bed and get up on the other side.

    1. IF the person is found to be guilty of damaging property, I would agree with your position. Until such time, you should refrain from being the judge and jury. Understand now?

  8. Trump signed a bill for special funding for umes. First bill of its kind. Obama passed on a similar bill. YouTube it if you don't believe me. One of the first things he did...

  9. Since when does damaging a political sign constitute a hate crime? I have no use for people who damage property, and particularly for people who set fires, but a hate crime? We had an Obama sign destroyed in 2008. We would have called the police if we'd known.

    1. Approval rating at historic low. How is this "winning"?

  11. What's the point of the sign, anyway? The election is over, Trump won, so be it. No excuse for the vandalism, but that sign is nothing more than an attempt to antagonize.
