School Says Teen’s Breasts Are Visible Through Shirt, But She Disagrees; Who Is Right?

Students are defending a Montana high school girl’s right not to wear a bra at school.

Helena High School senior Kaitlyn Juvik was allegedly asked to change her clothes because somebody complained it was making him or her uncomfortable, KRTV reports.

Juvik was consequently given a dress code violation.

“What I was confronted about was wrong … As long as nothing is showing and you’re covered up, girls should not have to wear a bra,” Juvik said.

Since then, many have grown outraged by the incident, with students protesting and creating a Facebook page called “No Bra, No Problem.”

  1. Agree, It's her body and although spectacular, should be allowed to exist. All we ask is coverage in present society, nothing more.

You wanna fight? Then topless beaches and topless everywhere could be the result.

Wanna fight? I'm a male who can be topless anywhere
    any time. Bring it on.

    1. Where was your outrage when a little girl was attacked and raped in a high school bathroom. Did you go to the jail demanding a fight? The parents of the attackers demanding a fight? Nope didn't think so snowflake.

  2. Look at me, look at me. Hey snowflake, how about concentrating on your school work and less on your 15 minutes of fame.

  3. The jack ass that reported her and said he or she was offended was either a gay dude or a fat chick - simple as that.

  4. I agree with the statement, schools have bigger fish to fry.

    1. Why is frying fish relevant to this conversation. People use the dumbest expressions that make NO sense. Think about it, what you said is ridiculous.

If that so called brain you have were as sharp as the tongue you display, you would have read the article. See the short piece below to answer your ignorant question. That is if you can read. Hope you pick up some reading skills today instead of looking at children's chi chi's.

“I stand behind my daughter 100%! I am very proud of the point she is trying to make and the movement that she and her friends have created,” wrote Juvik’s mom. “This movement is not just about wearing/not wearing a bra. Our daughters are body shamed and sexualized on a daily basis. We need to teach them to be comfortable in their own skin and not feel like they have to hide under their clothes. __"The schools have bigger fish to fry than worrying about whether or not my daughter is wearing a bra!"__ Ask your daughters if they wear a bra on a regular basis, I think you will be surprised by the answer!” Have a intelligent day, 11:40 PM

    2. You're just digging yourself in deeper 646. It's a very common expression. You're the one who looks like an uneducated and illiterate idiot.

  6. I agree with 10:54. Or maybe a male teacher. That would make it hard NOT to look. But, are kids required to wear bras and underwear?
My wife - who's a B cup- often goes without a bra. I don't discourage it! It doesn't offend me or anyone else.

  7. Agreed 10:54, agreed indeed. If you got it, flaunt it! What happened to equality? I thought that young men (and women) today weren't supposed to be offended by how a person displays their body. Other than that nose jewelry, she is a beautiful young lady. It probably was another chick that complained.

  9. I'd love to comment, however she is LEGALLY a MINOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So there's nothing to seeeeee here...nothing at all to seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  11. Trashy. Put on a bra.

  12. She can go without, but I'm sure she would complain if she got suggestive comments from males. You can control your clothing and how it covers your body parts, but you can't control how other people react to said body. If you don't want comments or looks, wear bra.

  13. You can look but try not to stare.

  14. School is not the place. She'll be the first one crying when she gets raped or suggestive comments made to her. Do it at home or wherever but show some respect in school.

  15. 958 I totally agree this is why prostitution should be LEGAL. If your 18 you should be able to rent your body to older men. I'm glad you have a progressive outlook. Our way of thinking gives me hope for the future and LEGAL age chicks wearing little to no clothes and getting paid for dates. Thanks.

  16. Under garments are mandatory in school and workplace. Im sorry this child and her parents have no class. What parent tells a child its ok to go to school with out proper clothing and under garments? Do you also send your kids out with out coats and shoes in the winter? This promotes lack of self respect.. seems to me this girl wants the attention, and her parents are too stupid to give her the proper attention and guidance that is needed!

As opposed to ILLEGALLY being a MINOR?

And every one of you making comments, whether it was she being trashy or not showing respect or whatever, each one of you made the picture bigger so you could have a better look. Her and her lack of bra is not the problem, it's the sexual objectification of her body that is the problem.

  18. 8:58 Which she is encouraging.

  19. She has a young, firm, mature body (maybe not the brains to go with it) and she WANTS to flaunt it. I'm not sure anybody, not even the school, or her parents, can stop her. She'll learn on her own whether it is a good choice, or not. Trust me, her classmates will remember her long after they graduate.

We all had a girl (or Two) like that in high school. But when I was in high school we didn't have as many girls who matured as soon as girls seem to nowadays. But other girls developed a bad reputation more so than these girls.

The fatter, homelier girls became the sluts and the skinny ugly ones became alcoholics. At least the ones I remember from school. By the same token, the loud stupid boys remained that way into adulthood, even becoming fire chiefs in a small town.

Even if this girl is seeking attention, she will soon find out that bad attention comes along with it. I trust she will wise up and decide for herself the bad attention is not worth it.

  21. She is blessed to be at that point in her life where she has a "young, firm, and mature body." The day will come where "young and firm" will give way to the mature. She should be allowed to enjoy it while she can.
