MSP: Five People Die Each Day In Maryland From Heroin Abuse

Those who use heroin in Maryland are going into Baltimore City almost daily to get the drugs they need. That from the head of the State Police Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Lt. Jeff Kloiber tells WBAL News Radio 1090's Anne Kramer many of those addicts are using fentanyl which is coming from China. Lt. Kloiber says dealers are "cutting" the fentanyl with heroin.

"When you cut fentanyl with heroin it keeps the purity levels the same," says Kloiber. Fentanyl is 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine and is highly dangerous when you mix fentanyl with heroin. He says the users don't know the purity level of the heroin laced with fentanyl and they are dying.

  1. Obama has had an unstoppable influx of illegals, many of which are simply drug mules. He has a (tax free) family trust now like the Clintons have. It's just a matter of him having "certain organizations" from setting money to it in return for being left alone.

My hope is that Jeff Sessions takes care of this.

  6. Keep posting parents the deaths unfortunately that occur to drugs in our neighborhoods. The brave parents who put it in their childrens obituaruies are trying to save other mothers and fathers so it doesn't happen to them and hopefully guiding the children to see the outcomes of poor choices not glamorized on TV or in movies. I worked a lot of years in local cardiology offices read charts all the time of heart damage caused by drug use, listen to the wake up calls they are getting louder!
