1. WHY has he NOT gone public against this?
2. Tell the Governor you oppose this legislation.

You will get a recording, push "0" for the operator. You will not reach the Governor but you will reach one of his staff members. Be sure to take their name and write it down. Tell them you oppose this legislation AND you want to know WHY our Governor has not gone public with his position on this matter, (as stated above). Bombard them right away.
UPDATE: Governor Hogan is stating he spoke out against this a year ago, (nothing recently) and they are saying if it goes through he will veto it. Yeah, right. He vetoed other legislation and the House overrode his veto. How convenient!
He already knows his vetos mean nothing. They have enough votes to override his vetos. don't vote for hogan!!!
ReplyDeleteSo is this where we are at now when it comes to electing a politician. We elected a REPUBLICAN Governor, he sits quiet while a bill like this comes to the floor without forewarning or a rally against it, the Governor sits back, (like a wimp) and lets our elected officials ramrod some of the most important things we elected Hogan to protect us on and the House takes the Governors office HOSTAGE and Hogan walks away like he did his job by a veto, knowing they will override him. This is complete BS and I hate to say, extremely obvious. He should be out there way ahead of the game fighting against Miller and Bush. I'm sorry but I'm NOT that stupid. I'm extremely disappointed.
ReplyDeleteDitto Joe, ditto!
ReplyDeleteWHY has he NOT gone public against this?
ReplyDeleteDid it ever occur to anyone that he is married to a foreigner?
10:48 AM wow, stupid comment of the day. I am sure she is legal and all. Geesh. Apples and oranges.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you joe. I continually contact his office and he is a worthless figure head. He does not get involved or make public appearances unless he gets an "atta boy" on what he is possibly doing positive. He will not get ahead of anything or be confrontational with Miller, Busch or the Legislature. He wants another term so he will be able to get his approx. $150,000 retirement with benefits for life.
ReplyDeleteThe same goes for Mathias and Van Holland. Neither will contact you back or if they do it is by a letter or e-mail stating talking points and not answering your concern.

Actually Dumb Dumb that comment makes a lot of sense and it proves you are the stupid one. If we have to explain then hopefully we can get you deported.
And who said anything about being illegal you dumb moron! Have you noticed that Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio aren't big fans of the Wall and Deportation. I think they are legal as well even though there has been some discussion about Cruz's legitimacy.
It's not only the Gov, why isn't our elected delegates out in front of this to? Why is it that we find about about bills being passed after it's to late? We could all do a camaign to inform people of what's going on but we don't know ahead of time, we find out after the fact in many cases! It's infuriating! We get them elected and then leave us in the dark! Most don't even have a clue that it's going to vote, they every one drop the ball when it comes to informing the public of what's going on, unless it's something important to them.. it's infuriating and plays into the hands of he demonrats!

Jim Mathias contact you back? LMAO. He will let his secretary contact you though. As if he is that busy and that important.
10:48 many of us are born of foreigners or married to one but does not mean that we support this!
ReplyDeleteIt comes down to the fact Maryland is a Democratic state--- Clinton won with 60% of the vote. Hogan was elected for his fiscal and economic views, not his social policies. The Eastern Shore has no voice real voice in state policy.
ReplyDelete"1. WHY has he NOT gone public against this?"
ReplyDeleteSame reason he wouldn't support Trump. RINO!
At this time, after seeing the way he is governing, I doubt I will SUPPORT Hogan in the next primary. He might have a better chance as a Democrat the next time around. I said the same thing about Gilchrest before he was voted out in the primary.
Larry Hogan is a Coward!
