ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Hundreds of people have rallied against allowing hydraulic fracturing for natural gas in Maryland.
The rally was held Thursday, as lawmakers on a House committee were scheduled to vote on banning the process known as fracking. The panel ended up delaying a vote until Friday.
Josh Tulkin, director of the Maryland Sierra Club, says regulations can’t make fracking safe, just as filters on cigarettes can’t make smoking safe.

DeleteJosh also wants men peeing next to little girls, believes in abortion for population control and illegals shouldn't get deported and we shouldn't have walls.... fact check it on YouTube.

ReplyDeleteThat is why Government taxes tobacco at such a high rate. It provides you the opportunity to give more of your money to Government before you die.
He's correct that more regulations cannot make something like fracking which is already safe, safer.
ReplyDeleteThese libtards are about safety, they're about anti-capitolism
Fracking is bad. Its been proven to be bad. If you cant see that its bad its because you are actively not looking to see if its bad. I cant get behind fracking. Yet the EPA has no problem with it.
ReplyDeleteThe EPA is a BS agency. If it did what it was supposed to due this would be a non-issue.
GOOD....NO FRACKING IN MARYLAND (that is if you love your children and grandchildren)
ReplyDeleteEveryone is in favor of fracking until it happens in your backyard.

Please prey tell, cite the scientific study that "Proves" fracking is bad.
Fracking can absolutely be done safely.
ReplyDeleteWasn't the Department of Energy created in the 70'same to make us less dependent on foreign oil and gas? I would think they would be the ones overseeing such endeavors, but I degrees. They are the biggest waste of tax dollars and need to be eliminated!
ReplyDelete7:17 Yup....fracking is safe....its the earthquakes that are going to get ya.
ReplyDeleteActually fracking has been around Pennsylvania farms for decades...and with little to no issues.....fracking for natural gas is different than oil....the two are very different!!
ReplyDeleteIs a natural HYDRO MASSAGE on rocks. Its putting Mother Nature into the ground to repurpose energy. It releases stress from the the earth... Very similar to HEAT YOGA. thank you.
ReplyDeleteLol
DeleteI don't care what those anti-frackers do, as long as they don't frack with me. Rule of thumb....if government is involved in anything good or bad I don't want nuttin' to do with it.
ReplyDeletelmao, it's time to cull the herd! hopefully global warming will melt these snowflakes then we can be rid of them for good!
ReplyDeleteAll of you who want to to attack me i will laugh at your ignorance as to how horrible fracking is for the environment and YOU! Just wait until you have to truck in water if you have a well on your property, and wait until this contaminated water gets into the Bay. Im no blind following environmentalist. Many regulations i find to be restraining but as far as fracking goes, unless youve completely researched it objectively, please keep your opinion to yourself because you have been drinking the koolaid if you think fracking is a good thing. The list of chemicals injected into the ground to accomplish it, along with the release of uncontrollable chemical wash after extraction will leave you speechless. That is if you get off your stubborn opinion box and look at the facts. This ruins peoples way of life and the oil companies pay people to shut up about it.
