Conway Suggests Surveillance of Trump Went Beyond Phones

Senior White House adviser Kellyanne Conway is suggesting that alleged government surveillance of Donald Trump during his campaign may have gone beyond the president's accusation that former President Barack Obama had his phones tapped.

Conway tells The Record of northern New Jersey (http://usat.ly/2midV4y) "there are many ways to surveil each other." She says "you can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets — any number of ways." Conway didn't offer any evidence for the remark.

It follows Trump's claim that Obama had Trump's "wires tapped" at Trump Tower before the election. Trump hasn't provided evidence and Obama has denied the charge.

FBI director James Comey has privately urged the Justice Department to dispute Trump's claim but has not come forward to do so himself.

  3. Really10:26? Proven by who? What facts? Even Spicer tried to roll this back yesterday saying bTrump didn't really mean "wire tap" and that he didn't mean that Obama was really behind anything. Trump is a flat out narcissistic liar and a true danger to this country.

    1. Your repeating talking points from CNN and didn't work for your candidate during the election btw. Everyone knows what trump meant everybody knows wiretap came from the top. Obama knew and now one of his people will take the blame. You want proof it's currently being investigated by congress per the President Trump. Why are you complaining?
