After 53 years, the Bel-Loc Diner is closing its doors.
The diner, which has been a Baltimore County landmark at the corner of Joppa Road and Loch Raven Boulevard will be officially closing Sunday, March 26.
Mr. Bill will be retiring upon the diner's closing.
Oh the memories!
ReplyDeleteI heard a Starbucks is going in. I grew up minutes from the Bel-Loc and remember when our local Cushman cop was shot and killed in the parking lot by a lunatic. Going in after the bars closed in the 70's for the best late night breakfast ever. I was there when a friend of mine, after too many drinks, thought it would be a good idea to punch one of the table side jukeboxes. He did manage to dent the metal frame but he also broke a finger. What memories. Now it will be lousy bitter coffee for the masses.
