When A Man Is Brutally Beaten Coming From A City Council Meeting, Is This What You'd Expect From The SPD?

Shouldn't this at least be listed as an Assault?

  3. That's how you keep crime down, just ask chief Duncan, I am sure she can explain it to the citizens of Salisbury.

  4. wow, about as dishonest as it gets. Youd think someone would be held accountable for falsifying gov documents. Goes to show ya even cops nowadays have no honor, they lie cheat and steal like petty thieves. Almost like they want ya to be unaware so you can become a victim, damn shame really.

    1. It's not th street cops that are doing this. It's the chief and her cronies that are being directed by the mayor to keep the numbers down. He has no chance in running for Md house of delegates against Anderton if his crime rests are high. Why do you think so many officers are leaving. They don't want to change their reports but they are being ordered to and when your on probation you obey or get fired.

  6. That may be how the call was dispatched the question would be is the report stating properly what the incident was so it is reported accurately to the FBI for statistical purposes. Also once it is determined that the incident is actually an assault is that being reported in crime reports to the public ?

  7. Same thing SU Police do so what is new. Both agencies are guilt of mislabeling crimes to keep their numbers low.

  8. Anon 2:53... um.... what?

  9. Yes and the real number of murders is never given to the public, or listed in the records for the year end. We have to get rid of Duncan this alone would validate this city so much better than the cover up.

  12. Once again the lack of leadership in this town rear it's ugly head. It started with Mayor Tighlman and has gone down with each Mayor since. The city council is nothing more than a rubber stamp proxy. The local government is clueless on how to lower crime. It starts by leaning on the state to give us tough judges. The community needs to lean on the prosecutors office. No more criminal bargains. And last but not least. Quit wasting the law enforcement's time chaperoning things like snowflake rallies. If they want a rally....they need to pay for protection. How much did it cost the city (my tax money) to baby sit a bunch of pansies. It's time to wake up Salisbury. Next assault might be your mother, sister, father, brother, child, or even yourself.

  15. Maybe they are down grading as to get grants such as Safe Streets. A lot of the grants are only awarded when a reduction can be shown in certain crimes.

  17. The MSP are just as guilty they fabricate crimes to punish & tarnish the innocent yet bust ass to cover up the really disturbing crimes in this town.

  20. Shame on anyone that supports what is being done to this town for those pursuing personal ambition.
I am indeed sorry to say how disappointed I am in my neighbors and friends that they won't come together to turn out Day and this bunch and refuse to patronize anyone advertising on WBOC until they start reporting the news - accurately!
Our county officisls would do well to recognize the impact Salisbury has on the area as a whole and take a public stance condemning the lack of effective action.
Shine the light on these people that sit on their hands in elected office

  21. Joe, are you able to request footage from the cameras the officers wear? That footage should clear this up.

  22. We have a new Attorney General in DC. Needs to put this intentional miscoding on his 'to do' list. It is fraud.

  23. This is the way the left create Fake news. Using statistics historically is the way they do it. Just look at the nightly news. Any one else get what I am saying?

  25. People you need to pressure your city council representatives and make it know she has to go. Barb's has to go people. Jake Day will do nothing with her bc he is scared of her and what the electing thugs will do if he does. Every one of the city council are responsible for Day not doing something about her. She is to stupid to realize she is horrible and destroying this town. If she was anybody she would realize and step down. Day says he is a military man, he has forgotten how to led. And to run of a Maryland seat position in Annapolis? Day!!!!! Never. Not after his lack of fixing problems here. SPD use to be a great department and now she and Day are destroying it. People go to this coming mondays council meeting and make it known you want change. Call your city council rep and tell them you are not happy with their lack of leadership. Barb's has to go

  26. Boy your hanging on this story. If you knew him, it wouldn't have been news.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Keep talking about it, that will solve the problem. Ireton wanted crime down, Webster would not lie for him so now Duncan downgrades crimes to look good, day is just as bad. I cannot believe nobody is smart enough to uncover the real story.

  30. Joe, I have known Richard Parsons for at least 40 yrs or more and am not sure what all the slanderous remarks are pertaining to & it is annoying as nell I left Salisbury about 22 years ago and from what I hear it is the pits. I see that all the anonymous posters are still w/ you. Cannot understand why they do not man (or woman) up and post their name. Still follow you Joe but not as much as my bride is very ill and needs my attention. This story on Richard is disgusting

  31. The corruption seems to eminate from the mayor. It's a Salisbury tradition and goes further into the GSC network, I think. Years ago Mark McGuiver did a study on crime. It was very well done, based on analysis of all types of valid reports and statistics. It was not met with positivity by the powers that be! He fought a good fight to expose what was really going on, although he was discouraged from doing so. Yet, look who Salisbury voters elected as mayor and council this time. Nothing will change until the voters do their homework and turn out to vote.

  32. 12:16 your exactly right. A message will be sent on the next go around of elections......

  33. how about a hate crime

  34. More lies coming from the good ole boy circle here in Salisbury. The officers involved in this should be ashamed. The least they could do is let the people know what is going on here in Salisbury. If they are men, they would.
