Uh Oh, Molly Caught Lying Yet Again According To A Viewers Research/Comment
People are not "nominated" for the AWP National Poetry Award, they submit their work for consideration. One winner is chosen annually for the $6500 scholarship prize. There are also three $500 "scholarships" to attend writing workshops and the like held by AWP, those monies held by AWP as down payments to attend. Each poetry submission requires a $10 "reading fee". There is no limit to the number of submissions, so long as the $10 check accompanies each.
It appears that this young woman sent one or more submissions and a $10 check for each one to AWP to enter the competition, and was not one of those chosen by the organization for further consideration in that given year.
Hats off to her for joining the competition, but not so much for claiming that her work was "nominated" for anything, because it wasn't.
Add this to her claim of being a writer for NPR (later withdrawn as a "typographical error",) and it's clear that she has some issues with telling the truth without being closely monitored by those who expect it.

Ah, the ignorance of youth, supported by the ignorance of those who never gave theirs up as they grew older. Reality is hard, especially when years of fantasy come up against it. Better to embrace reality in youth than suffer for living in a dream world through it.

I don't know one sane gay person who voted for Hillary Clinton. They knew what Islam is all about and they also knew she took money from all the countries that seek to destroy the LGBT community. How can Molly sleep at night is a mystery.
She claims her parents were great but did they give her the coping skills necessary to live in the real adult world? Lying on her resume is just flat out wrong. Didn't she learn the difference between right and wrong? Karma? Morals? Her disrespectful email to Albero is a good indication she wasn't raised right. Fault her parents for this. And what does her rants say about SU and what kind of skills they're imparting on students getting ready to go into the world? SU should be ashamed of this young girl whose not mature enough to shoulder any disappointment at all.
The poetry thing is a well known scam that feeds off of naïve, vulnerable, and frankly, stupid, people. (Remember "Draw This Dog" ads on the back pages of comic books?) Molly is a perfect candidate for this con game. She could also be a Beauty Contest finalist - as long as she sells $500 in advertising for the "program". Just another scam.
Posting info about her 'rally' generated a lot more interest, pro and con, than it would attracted on its own. In that respect, she owes you a 'Thanks'.
The resume padding is to be expected to a degree from someone with scant practical experience. Especially enjoy the Vice-President of the German Club at SU. Massive group; just think she was only a heartbeat away from the top spot!
Hope we're done hearing about her, but Jakey will probably find her a spot in his collection of useful idiots.

If Molly's parents really loved and cared for her she wouldn't have grown up with low self esteem that makes her lie to make herself look important. Molly and her types are no different.
