D.C. court indicts 146 more people on felony rioting charges from Inauguration Day
The Superior Court of the District of Columbia indicted 146 more people on Wednesday on felony rioting charges in connection with Inauguration Day.
A press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in D.C. says the 146 people were facing charges relating to incidents that occurred in the four-block area from the intersection of 13th and O Street NW to the intersection of 12th and L Street NW on January 20.
Of the 230 people arrested and charged with felony rioting connected with Inauguration Day, 209 have now been indicted.
Appeasement is all this is and stupid people fall for it.2 ladies standing in front of me at a grocery checkout yesterday were talking about the "hard time" those people would get.Can they seriously be that stupid? Check back in a month and see how many are still in jail,but first check to see if any are even incarcerated to begin with.
9:09 I too doubt any will receive jail time. But you sound as if there should be no repercussions. Even if there is no jail time they should be convicted of felony rioting. There hopefully will be monetary damages and/or community service. And this will go on their record as being convicted of a felony. Hopefully the judge will do his/her job!!
Thefis police need to start arresting those which are dressed in all black with the black bandanaspot covering their face, this a group whose stated purpose is to go to demonstrations and incite a riot, vandalize and create chaos. They should be picked up as a domestic terrorist or for suspicion of being a terrorist. That is all they are there for is to terrorize people!
