  7. Seriously?
Is THIS how stupid we've become?
THIS question can reliably determine if you are in the top percentile of intelligence???
It wasn't a word problem or a multi-step math question. It was a mere contraction - one word --- and most people can't solve it?
    God help us.....

  8. I scored an A+ on the test,WOW! Did not know I was that good with the correct word game!

  9. I aced it, but anybody who was actually taught proper grammar should be able to ace it as well.

The 'mistakes' being addressed in this quiz are now so widespread in our society that they appear in books, magazine articles and even on signs.

Many in our country under the age of about 40 have a pretty significant weakness in language skills, and some of them are now teachers.

  10. Is this a pitiful statement about how unintelligent we've became (LOL). Did no won pay attention in school? Can you find the errors in this comment?

  11. A+ "Wow! You performed at an absolute genius level on this test -- that is the highest possible score that anyone can achieve. You're in the top 1% ranking! This test included questions which had some of the most misspelled words and phrases in the English language. A lot of people fail this quiz because they confuse elicit/illicit, alluded/eluded, and some even misuse to/too/two, but you know your grammar and spelling exceptionally well!"

  12. I agree 100% with 9:35 AM.

  13. Now try to, too, and two?

  14. Remember - Totalitarianism needs a stupid populace. Our school have done a great job of producing stupid "graduates".

  15. A+ here. Reading is the key. The more you do it, the better word recognition you'll have.

  16. A+ too! Kind of agree with 9:35 though as in my opinion too many of us have lost the ability to think critically. IMHO social media has dumbed us down as I watched a group of teens who could barely carry on a conversation without fleeing to the texting mode.

But why would those with a lower score even put their scores here. We have seen the mistakes that could have been made on this test many times right here made by commenting people. There are 7 billion of us. We are equal only under the law or suppose to be.

  18. I scored AAA+++...it said I was much smarter than the genius that put this kindergarten quiz together. I requested a "Star" or trophy and was told that is not allowed, for fear of hurting someones feelings that scored only A+

  19. So now if someone can ace a junior high grammar test, they are a genius? Don't let MENSA know!

  20. In this day and age, where my thermostat goes higher than most IQ's, I'm not so surprised.
Spell check has been the demise of our vocabulary and grammar, and the savior for those who didn't pay attention in school.

  21. If so many people aced the test, why do so many people have such screwed up spelling and grammar in their comments on here.
