Bureaucrats Attempting to Sabotage Trump with Leaks

Many of the 2.7 million bureaucrats employed by the federal government oppose President Donald Trump’s policies and are actively attempting to sabotage his agenda.

That sabotage comes in several forms, from secretly circulating emails among fellow ideologically-committed members of the federal bureaucracy plotting strategy, to working behind the scenes with Democratic legislators to create out-of-the ordinary bureaucratic actions, to leaking confidential documents to the press.

Philip K. Howard, chairman of Common Good, “a nonpartisan reform coalition that believes individual responsibility, not rote bureaucracy, must be the organizing principle of government” is recommending President Trump beat these efforts to sabotage his agenda through an executive order to “replace the current system.”

Howard “argues that the civil service system, as currently structured, deprives the President of his executive power under Article II of the Constitution,” Common Good said in a statement released on Monday.

President Trump has already used executive orders to begin the implementation of the agenda which American voters supported in the November elections. While an executive order specifically aimed at the federal bureaucracy would be controversial, even Politico recognizes that many bureaucrats are actively seeking to undermine Trump’s political agenda.

  2. And I am getting sick of all the attacks on Trump. Even Bill O'Reilly was attacking Trump before the the Superbowl interview.

Many on Fox News are attacking Trump as well and I am getting sick and tired of watching it. After 8 years of putting up with the bullshit that the Democrats fed us with the illegal Muslim from Kenya you would think there would be a News Network that would be on the Republican's side no matter who the Republican Candidate was. This crap by the Republicans hating on the Republicans is why we can't keep a Republican in as a President more than 2 terms. Wake up you stupid idiots!! Start reaching down and finding a set and start fighting back.

  6. The people who are using other email accounts for government business and encryption as well need to be removed, they are in effect running a shadow government hidden from public view. This is a covert operation to undermine our democracy as well as the administration duly elected. It is a slap in the face to every American!

  7. Restate and reinforce the rules, then hold the entire management structure personally responsible for ensuring their subordinates comply. Failure to follow the rules or enforce them is insubordination and a one-way ticket to the parking lot.

The President met with a very wide array of people between the election and inauguration. One of the big raps during the primaries was that he wasn't an idealogue.

From his past it's clear he wants information to travel up the organization to him or his appointees for digestion and decision; that's the job we elected him to do. Those federal employees who choose to push information outside the organization deserve firing; they undercut all of us.

Channels exist to share concerns about actual wrong doing, if it occurs. But that is not the same as disagreeing with your boss; follow orders or look for work.
