Marijuana does raise the risk of getting schizophrenia and triggers heart attacks, according to the most significant study on the drug's effects to date.
A federal advisory panel admitted cannabis can almost certainly ease chronic pain, and might help some people sleep.
But it dismisses most of the drug's other supposedly 'medical benefits' as unproven.
Crucially, the researchers concluded there is not enough research to say whether marijuana effectively treats epilepsy - one of the most widely-recognized reasons for cannabis prescriptions.
The report also casts doubt on using cannabis to treat cancers, irritable bowel syndrome, or certain symptoms of Parkinson's disease, or helping people beat addictions.

They have known that pot causes mental issues for decades. Just look at the people in your life that smokes it.
ReplyDeleteThe people in your life that smoke it have underlying mental issues. You have no idea how many "movers and shakers", and prominate people in your own community that take a toke rather than a glass of wine at the end of the day.
Delete"A federal advisory panel..." And who would believe anything the federal government says🤔
ReplyDeleteWho would believe a pot smoker for that matter...haha

ReplyDeleteMovers and shakers? Bwahahahahahahah
The assistant manager at McDonalds is not a mover and shaker
11:20 AM: Name us a few of these prominent (not "prominate" as a half brain dead stoner would spell it) people.
ReplyDeleteThe tiny terror shereef?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how long it takes for a person to develop schizophrenia or for the heart attack trigger. Been smoking now for 42 years and haven't seen any signs of either of these two conditions. Can't really say I believe the government when it tells me what something will do to be.
ReplyDeleteLook at the simple egg. Some experts say most definitely do not eat many of them. They aren't good for you. Some experts say the exact opposite. Bottom line is that no one gets out alive.
So it is a schedule 1 which means no medical value and can not be studied but yet the government did study and such. Yea right.
ReplyDeleteAnd the ignorant keep cheering. All the BS negitive types are just ignorant. So It will never stop. A Natural drug not harmful in any way. Of course abuse in any form or substance is unheathly duh....man does not live by bread alone nor pot.
ReplyDeleteand at the end of the day, we all die from something!
ReplyDeleteI knew three people who were schizophrenic, all three started smoking pot at a young ages.they younger they were the worse the disease hit them, all three have died, one thirty, and the other two in their fifties. All were in bad shape by age 25, and it progressed rapidly the more they smoked. Also know several pot heads for twenty plus years, they were normal teens not slow or trashy, now they are still smoking and they have th IQ of toilet paper. And they are more paranoid and suspicious. Nothing foreign is good for you.
ReplyDeleteLook at you idiots." I've been smoking pot for 40 years and ain't a moron yet" Perhaps you just didn't notice.
