Minnesota-Somali Muslim Legislator, Ilhan Omar was elected to be a State Representative for District 60B November 8, 2016 and she just took her oath on a giant Quran.
Omar is a refugee who came to the U.S. when she was 12 years old.
Asad Zaman who is the Executive Director for Muslim American Society of Minnesota said:
The Muslim community needs a win. The ethos of America that can embrace a Somali American, Hijab clad woman as their representative…I think that says something amazing about America.

I doubt that. I seriously doubt that trump is going to pull through on any of his promises.
First of all I don't think any refugee or anyone that isn't born in this country with both parents as American citizens should be allow to run for or hold office.
It starts with Liberals wanting to "redistrict" and add more "districts" like Jim Ireton just did in Salisbury. Went from 2 districts to 5 districts and now see what you have. A large ghetto representation on the city council. A muslim rep or illegal alien rep is next.

These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause of Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them. Quran (16:106) - Establishes that there are circumstances that can "compel" a Muslim to tell a lie. Quran (3:28) - This verse tells Muslims not to take those outside the faith as friends, unless it is to "guard themselves" against danger, meaning that there are times when a Muslim should appear friendly to non-Muslims, even though they should not feel that way..
So her allegiance is to Allah and sharia law,total BS for lawmakers there to allow this.
