Is This Hillary's Watergate?

After posting Friday’s column, “A Presidency from Hell,” about the investigations a President Hillary Clinton would face, by afternoon it was clear I had understated the gravity of the situation.

Networks exploded with news that FBI Director James Comey had informed Congress he was reopening the investigation into Clinton’s email scandal, which he had said in July had been concluded.

“Bombshell” declared Carl Bernstein. The stock market tumbled. “October surprise!” came the cry.

The only explanation, it seemed, was that the FBI had uncovered new information that could lead to a possible indictment of the former secretary of state, who by then could be the president of the United States.

By Sunday, we knew the source of the eruption.

Huma Abedin, Clinton’s top aide, sent thousands of emails to the private laptop she shared with husband Anthony Weiner, a.k.a. Carlos Danger, who is under FBI investigation for allegedly sexting with a 15-year-old girl.

The Weiner-Abedin laptop contains 650,000 emails.

The FBI has not yet reviewed Abedin’s emails, and they could turn out to be duplicates of those the FBI has already seen, benign, or not relevant to the investigation of Clinton.

But it does appear that Abedin misled the FBI when she told them all communications devices containing State Department work product were turned over to State when she departed in 2013.

Man downs 4 or 5 energy drinks a day, turns yellow

(NEWSER) - For three weeks, a construction worker drank four or five energy drinks per day to help keep up with his intense workload. Then his body went haywire.

In a bizarre case Florida doctors describe in the British Medical Journal, the 50-year-old man started gulping down energy drinks on the job but suddenly began vomiting after about three weeks. Soon, his skin turned yellow, but it wasn't the caffeine or even the sugar that was the problem.

At a hospital, the man showed signs of liver damage, and a biopsy confirmed he had acute hepatitis, believed to have been brought on by high intake of vitamin B3, or niacin, found in his energy drink of choice. (It wasn't named.) Each bottle had about 200% of the daily recommended dose, reports Gizmodo.

Texas Poll: Trump Lead Swells to 12

A new poll in Texas shows that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s lead has swelled to 12 points over opponent Hillary Clinton.

The KTVT-CBS 11/Dixie Strategies Poll reveals that if the election for president was held today, 52 percent of likely voters said they would vote for Trump, and 39 percent said they would vote for Clinton, reported CBSDFW. The Dallas CBS affiliate wrote, the poll result “casts doubt on any Democratic victory on November 8.”

Polls by the CBS affiliate in August had Trump 11 points over Clinton with 46 percent to Clinton’s 35 percent. In October, their poll had Trump at 45 percent and Clinton at 38 percent.

Dixie Strategies pollster Brian Graham told CBS 11’s Jack Fink, “People have now decided and it appears that Donald Trump has captured most of those undecided voters as we have gotten closer [to the November general election].”

School Bus Driver In Crash Wasn't Authorized To Drive Commercial Vehicle

Glenn Chappell, the school bus driver involved in the fatal bus crash on Tuesday, was not authorized to drive a commercial vehicle because his medical exam certificate expired, the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration told the 11 News I-Team on Thursday.

"The Maryland Department of Transportation’s Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) is actively assisting law enforcement’s bus crash investigation. The MVA determined that effective 09-01-2016, Mr. Glenn R. Chappell was no longer authorized to drive a commercial motor vehicle because he failed to provide an updated Medical Examiner’s Certificate, which expired on 08-31-2016," the MVA said in a statement to the I-Team.

"MVA sent him two letters notifying him of the consequences of not providing his Medical Examiner’s Certificate: 07-17-2016 and 09-08-2016. WikiLeaks: CNN's Gloria Borger Describes 'GOP Hell,' Calls John Podesta a 'Star'

The latest Wikileaks data dump has revealed how CNN chief political analyst Gloria Borger emailed Hillary Clinton campaign chief John Podesta telling him he was a “star” and describing how she had been in “gop hell.”

In a short email to Podesta entitled “U r a tv star!”, Borger wrote, “I have been in gop hell. Will reach out soon! U good?”

Podesta simply replied to the email “yup,” before Borger went on to praise Hillary Clinton’s debate performance, adding that “she had a really good debate tonite.”

Borger’s responsibility as a CNN political analyst is not to operate as a Clinton surrogate, but to provide balanced opinion and analysis of political developments.

The email was sent February 12th 2016, with Borger having appeared the evening before as part of CNN’s post debate panel between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders the night before.

Top Psychologist: Google's Algorithm Will Rig the Election For Hillary

Search engine's power to manipulate public opinion represents a "threat to democracy"

According to top psychologist Robert Epstein, the power of Google’s algorithm to manipulate public opinion is so strong that it can influence up to 10 million undecided voters, ensuring a victory for Hillary Clinton.

After several years of research involving more than 10,000 people in 39 countries, Epstein concluded that Google has “the power to control elections” and that by favoring one candidate over another in some demographics up to 80 percent of undecided voters can be easily manipulated.

Google’s long standing support for Hillary Clinton runs so deep, that Google parent company Alphabet’s Executive Chairman, Eric Schmidt, met with Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and asked if he could be Hillary’s “head outside advisor.”

Hillary Clinton Could Get 20 Years In Prison

Obstruction charges could be in Hillary's near future

Clinton has no one to blame but herself since it was her decision to set up a private home-brew server.

Now she may face charges of obstruction of justice if the FBI finds that Hillary Clinton altered, destroyed or concealed any emails that should have been turned over to the FBI during the original investigation.

There’s An Epic ‘Supermoon’ Coming Our Way In November

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Weather-permitting, we’ll be in for a beautiful treat in the sky on November 14, according to NASA.

A supermoon, which has become a popular term in the past few years, results from the moon’s orbit being elliptical, or oval-shaped.

That said, here’s what creates the effect of a supermoon, when the moon appears much bigger and brighter than normal:

The “perigee” is the point at which the moon is closest to the earth. About 30,000 miles closer than the other extreme, when the moon is further away, known as the “apogee.”

James Dobson warns: U.S. at ‘point of no return’

'Go to the polls on November 8th and make your voice heard'

The United States is at the “point of no return” on issues of faith and morality, and the common statement that a particular election is the most important of a lifetime finally is absolutely true in 2016, according to prominent evangelical Christian leader Dr. James Dobson.

“Every four years, when Americans head to the polls to choose our next president, it’s easy, and frankly common, to label each election as ‘the most important in our lifetime,'” said Dobson, the founder of Focus on the Family, Family Talk radio and an adviser to presidents.

“However, given the unprecedented nature of this current presidential contest, that statement is finally proven true. Each candidate proposes radically divergent visions for the future of our country, making 2016 a great turning point in the history of America,” he said.

Dobson, who holds 17 honorary doctoral degrees and is a member of the National Radio Hall of Fame after his years of family oriented radio work and authoring more than 30 books, warned of the loss of religious liberty, the institution of marriage and even life.

Statewide Change Your Clock, Change Your Battery

“CHANGE YOUR CLOCK – CHANGE YOUR BATTERY”MAINTAIN WORKING SMOKE ALARMS AND CO ALARMS

Statewide – In anticipation of daylight savings time ending in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 6th, the State Fire Marshal is urging Marylanders to “Change Your Clock – Change Your Battery” in both smoke alarms and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms in their homes.  Recognizing that working smoke alarms and CO alarms double a family’s chance of surviving a home fire and/or an unsafe carbon monoxide level, the State Fire Marshal says Daylight Savings Time is a great opportunity for families to change the batteries.  “This simple procedure can help us avoid tragedies in the place we should feel the most secure – our homes.”
Along with working smoke alarms and CO alarms, home escape plans are another way Marylanders can avoid injury or death in their homes.  By identifying at least two different escape routes, families can practice the plan together – before an emergency strikes.  Practicing the plan helps educate younger children to the danger of hazardous situations and the importance of recognizing that the sound of a smoke alarm or CO alarm signals a potential hazard in the home.  “Changing the battery in your smoke alarms and CO alarms, along with developing and practicing a home escape plan, are three of the best ways to protect your loved ones and yourself from fire and carbon monoxide poisoning,” stated Fire Marshal Geraci.  These life saving electronic devices have a life expectancy of ten years for smoke alarms and CO alarms.  Please replace the units at these intervals to ensure optimal performance in the event an incident involving fire or a carbon monoxide leak was to occur.
CLOSE THE DOOR - Keep bedroom doors closed when sleeping.  If a fire occurs elsewhere in the home, the closed door will provide additional time to escape by blocking heat, smoke and toxic gases.  If a fire occurs inside your home, close doors as you escape to help contain the fire.

Obama blames sexism for Hillary Clinton’s woes, notion she’s ‘hiding something’ in email scandal

President Obama has suggested in an interview that sexism is playing a role in the controversy over Hillary Clinton’s emails.

In an interview on “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” that aired late Monday, the president said bias against women has “contributed to this notion that somehow she is hiding something.”

Ms. Bee had asked the president what public perception Mrs. Clinton will face as president that would be the equivalent of the birther movement, which questioned Mr. Obama’s citizenship and was cited by many as a form of racism.

“I think the equivalent will be: She’s tired, she’s moody, she’s being emotional, there’s something about her,” Mr. Obama said. “When men are ambitious, it’s just taken for granted. ‘Well, of course they should be ambitious.’ When women are ambitious, ‘Why?’ That theme, I think, will continue throughout her presidency, and it’s contributed to this notion that somehow she is hiding something.”

The president is campaigning aggressively for Mrs. Clinton this week, with a rally Tuesday in Ohio and events later in the battleground states of North Carolina and Florida.

Employers Face New Jan. 31 W-2 Filing Deadline; Some Refunds Delayed Until Feb. 15

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Internal Revenue Service reminds employers and small businesses of a new Jan. 31 filing deadline for Forms W-2. The IRS also must hold some refunds until Feb. 15.

A new federal law, aimed at making it easier for the IRS to detect and prevent refund fraud, will accelerate the W-2 filing deadline for employers to Jan. 31. For similar reasons, the new law also requires the IRS to hold refunds involving two key refundable tax credits until at least Feb. 15. Here are details on each of these key dates.

New Jan. 31 Deadline for Employers
The Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, enacted last December, includes a new requirement for employers. They are now required to file their copies of Form W-2, submitted to the Social Security Administration, by Jan. 31. The new Jan. 31 filing deadline also applies to certain Forms 1099-MISC reporting non-employee compensation such as payments to independent contractors.

FBI Clinton Foundation probe finds 'avalanche' of corruption evidence

An FBI investigation into the Clinton Foundation is likely to lead to an indictment unless the Justice Department interferes, two sources familiar with the probe told Fox News.

The Clintons are accused of running a pay-for-play operation out of the State Department that favored donors to their charity - a charge they have denied.

But the feds are 'actively and aggressively pursuing this case,' Fox's Brit Hume said Wednesday, and they have an 'avalanche' of evidence.

Wall Street Journal report says the FBI's pursuit of the case is rooted in recordings of a suspect in a different corruption case who spoke about the Clinton Foundation's alleged dirty dealings.

Emails show Justice Department official overseeing Clinton probe has close ties to Podesta

A Department of Justice official who notified Congress Monday that the agency would "dedicate all necessary resources" to the reopened Hillary Clinton email investigation has a close relationship with campaign chair John Podesta, hacked emails show.

Peter Kadzik, assistant attorney general, sent his son to seek a job on the Clinton campaign given his personal relationship with Podesta. He was invited to a small birthday gathering for Podesta's lobbyist brother last year. Kadzik also dined with Podesta at his home in January, when the first FBI probe was well underway.

Emails made public by WikiLeaks over the past several weeks raise fresh questions about the Justice Department's handling of an investigation into a case with such close ties to the agency's leadership. Just one week before FBI Director James Comey closed the original Clinton email probe in July, Attorney General Loretta Lynch's private meeting with Clinton's husband sparked a wave of outrage that ultimately clouded the Justice Department's decision to end the investigation.

In 2008, Podesta raved about Kadzik to Cassandra Butts, a member ofPresident Obama's transition team, and noted Kadzik was "willing to help" with vetting for Obama's Cabinet.

Commissioners Advance Showell Project After School Board Cuts Overall Project Cost

SNOW HILL – Plans for a new Showell Elementary School are again moving forward following the school system’s efforts to bring the project’s cost down.

On Tuesday, the Worcester County Commissioners approved a $1.6 million funding request from the Worcester County Board of Education. The funding will allow the school system to complete the design and construction documents for the new school.

“We finally got somewhere,” Commissioner Jim Bunting said. “I appreciate everybody’s patience. I think it’s paid off.”

The construction of a new Showell Elementary School has proven to be a controversial one during the past year. While no one disputes the need for a new building, county leaders and school system officials have been at odds over the project’s price. After early school system estimates set the cost at $54 million, the commissioners developed their own pro forma cost estimate of $37 million.

When education officials presented plans for a $46 million facility in September, the commissioners said they needed more time to consider the project and its financial impact.

Hillary Clinton Learned How To Manipulate The Law By Defending A Child Rapist

Hillary blames a little girl for her own rape

The FBI’s new investigation (or reopened investigation, depending on which version of the Washington Post you happened to see first) turns the floodlights on Hillary Clinton’s decisions to use a private email server for government business and to delete tens of thousands of emails while under congressional subpoena.

The Kathy Shelton rape case may not appear to have much in common with Hillary’s email woes, but new details suggest the methods Hillary Rodham used to maneuver around procedural norms in that criminal case bear striking similarities to her actions in her email scandal.

In May 1975, at the very start of her legal career, Hillary volunteered to defend child rapist Thomas Alfred Taylor, but only after guaranteeing herself a “win” by working closely on the case with the judge and his son, who happened to be early public supporters and donors for Bill Clinton’s congressional bid.

The Only Sexual Assault Case the Media Doesn’t Care About

New facts cast doubt on Hillary Clinton’s statements about how and why she defended Taylor and handled physical evidence that has disappeared in that case. Hillary’s own descriptions of this case, presented in her autobiography “Living History” and in an audiotaped interview with journalist Roy Reed in the 1980s, have gone largely unchallenged until now.

'Voter fraud'? California man finds dozens of ballots stacked outside home

Jerry Mosna was gardening outside his San Pedro, Calif., home Saturday when he noticed something odd: Two stacks of 2016 ballots on his mailbox.

The 83 ballots, each unused, were addressed to different people, all supposedly living in his elderly neighbor’s two-bedroom apartment.

“I think this is spooky,” Mosna said. “All the different names, none we recognize, all at one address.”

His wife, Madalena Mosna, noted their 89-year-old neighbor lives by herself, and, “Eighty people can’t fit in that apartment.”

They took the ballots to the Los Angeles Police Department, but were directed to the post office. They felt little comfort there would be an investigation, and called another neighbor, John Cracchiolo – who contacted the Los Angeles County Registrar's office.

Harry Reid finishes disgraceful career with a vicious smear

Practiced smear merchant Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.), whose disgraceful political career will come to a blessed end upon his impending retirement, is characteristically sliming his way to the finish line.

Reid has accused FBI Director James Comey of suppressing damaging information about Donald Trump ahead of next week’s election. “It has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors and the Russian government,” Reid wrote in an acerbic letter to Comey. His evidence? Unspecified “communications” with unnamed officials.

Reid wields precisely zero credibility in leveling this allegation. Four years ago, reportedly with the blessing of the Obama campaign, Reid repeatedly stoked speculation that Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney had avoided paying taxes.

“The word’s out” that Romney “hasn’t paid any taxes for 10 years,” Reid claimed, citing unnamed sources in support of his utterly baseless charge. Sound familiar?

5 Separate FBI Cases Are Probing Virtually Every One Of Hillary's Inner-Circle

The extent to which Hillary Clinton's key advisers are now the focus of major FBI investigations is becoming clear. As The DailyMail.com reports, the Clintons' long-term inner-circle - some of whom stretch back in service to the very first days of Bill's White House - are being examined in at least five separate investigations.

The scale of the FBI's interest in some of America's most powerful political fixers - one of them a sitting governor - underlines just how difficult it will be for Clinton to shake off the taint of scandal if she enters the White House.

There are, in fact, not one but five separate FBI investigations which involve members of Clinton's inner circle or their closest relatives - the people at the center of what has come to be known as Clintonworld.

The five known investigations are into: Anthony Weiner, Huma Abedin's estranged husband sexting a 15-year-old; the handling of classified material by Clinton and her staff on her private email server; questions over whether the Clinton Foundation was used as a front for influence-peddling; whether the Virginia governor broke laws about foreign donations; and whether Hillary's campaign chairman's brother did the same.

The progress of the Clinton Foundation investigation and that into McAuliffe was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

The FBI does not generally comment on investigations, so it is entirely possible there are more under way.
Here are the advisers and consiglieri - and how the FBI is looking at them

Pennsylvania Police Raid Democrat "Advocacy Group" Office Over Alleged Voter Fraud

Pennsylvania state police have raided offices of a democrat "public advocacy" group, FieldWorks, LLC, seeking evidence of possible voter-registration fraud. The Inquirer Daily News, cited court records in a report published earlier today noting that police were seeking templates that were "utilized to construct fraudulent voter registration forms." The office being investigated is located in the city of Norwood in Delaware County, PA.

In a warrant filed late last week in County Court, investigators said they were seeking documents, financial information, and lists of employees at the Norwood office of FieldWorks LLC, a national organization that often does street work for Democrats, records show.

The warrant did not specify the nature of the probe, but said agents also were looking for "templates . . . utilized to construct fraudulent voter registration forms" and "completed voter registration forms containing same or similar identifying information of individuals on multiple forms."

A Delaware County judge on Friday afternoon signed the search warrant, but it was not known when it was executed. The warrant application was approved by the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office. Jeff Johnson, a spokesman for the Attorney General's Office, declined to comment.

FBI Surprises With Files on Clinton ’01 Pardon of Marc Rich

The FBI unexpectedly released 129 pages of documents related to an investigation closed without charges in 2005 into President Bill Clinton’s pardon of Marc Rich, who had been married to a wealthy Democratic donor.

The file was posted online Monday but received little attention until the FBI noted it in a tweet on Tuesday afternoon. It comes as Director James Comey faces fire from Democrats and even some Republicans for releasing information about his renewed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of e-mail.

The unusual timing of the release was the result of a Freedom of Information Act request that had been completed and was posted under standard FBI practice, according to a law enforcement official who asked not to be identified discussing internal matters. But the Clinton campaign immediately questioned it.

“Absent a FOIA litigation deadline, this is odd,” Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said on Twitter.

"Chairman Cash": John Podesta Paid $7,000/Month By Foundation Run by Banker With Ties To Financial Crisis

Last Friday, I published a post titled, John Podesta’s Sister-in-Law Lobbied For Raytheon While Hillary Was Secretary of State, which understandably got totally buried in the madness surrounding the latest FBI news. Here’s the first paragraph of that post:

The Podesta family seems particularly adept at earning extraordinary sums of money via selling out the American public. Earlier this year, I highlighted how John Podesta’s brother Tony was paid $140,000 per month by the medieval monarchy of Saudi Arabia. After all, who cares about women’s rights when the pay is good?

Indeed, it’s not just relatives of Podesta who know how to rake in the cash. John is no slouch either, as Politico explained in an article published earlier today.

Here are a few excerpts:

Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, last year signed a $7,000-a-month contract with the foundation of a major Clinton donor who made a fortune selling a type of mortgage that some critics say contributed to the housing collapse, hacked emails show.

In February of last year, as Podesta was working to lay the groundwork for Clinton’s soon-to-launch campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, he signed the contract with the Sandler Foundation, which was started by Herb Sandler and his late wife Marion Sandler.

The contract — a copy of which was included in emails illegally obtained from Podesta’s Gmail account and disseminated Monday by WikiLeaks — is still active, according to Herb Sandler, who said that it calls for Podesta to provide advice on grant-making and other foundation functions.

It’s unusual for the full-time chairman of a general-election presidential campaign to maintain an active side deal with a major donor to that campaign — let alone to raise money from that donor for the campaign.

The WikiLeaks cache shows that Podesta provided Sandler with philanthropic advice and assortments of cheeses and pastas as gifts on the holidays, while Sandler offered all manner of political observations and once tried to get Podesta to arrange for former President Bill Clinton to write a blurb for a book written by one of Sandler’s friends.

Delaware’s foreclosure rate tops in nation, RealtyTrac reports

Thanks to tough times in the past several years Delaware has the nation’s highest foreclosure rate, according to RealtyTrac, a company that crunches numbers on troubled properties in the 50 states. Not far behind was New Jersey, which has long suffered from a high foreclosure rate.

The Delaware rate of one home in 674 is more than double the national foreclosure rate.

The Delaware rate runs ahead of states, such as Nevada. That state saw a deep decline in its economy in 2008 and 2009, due to overbuilding and a slump in the casino business.

That means that Trump has shockingly flipped his numbers in the state in just one month. Three weeks ago, Clinton was leading Trump by two points in the same poll – 46 percent to 44 percent.

Trump has now passed the 50 percent threshold, according to the poll, making it unlikely that Clinton will be able to bounce back.

The poll was conducted after the news that the FBI would revisit the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server.

The Republican nominee received 47 percent of respondents' support, while the Democratic candidate fielded 43 percent. It's the second poll of the day showing Trump with an advantage over Clinton, following weeks of surveys that showed the former secretary of state outperforming the billionaire businessman.

Trump topped Clinton, 46 percent to 45 percent, in the Washington Post/ABC News presidential tracking poll. While it is within the margin of error, it's a significant boost to his campaign after weeks of trailing the Democrat and the first time he has led her in the survey since tracking started in June.

JUST IN: Edward “Scott” Husbands found not guilty on all charges

A Delaware Superior Court jury of nine women and three men found Edward “Scott” Husbands not guilty on three counts of unlawful sexual contact.

Husbands, a former assistant principal at Benjamin Banneker Elementary School, was accused by three young girls of unlawfully touching them. The two-day trial culminated in a lengthy deliberation process by the jury that started around 3 p.m. Nov. 2 and stretched into the night, with the unanimous verdict finally being reached at 11:15 a.m. Nov. 3.

In the second day of testimony Nov. 2, Husbands took the stand to vehemently deny charges leveled against him.

Husbands of Milton was on trial for unlawfully touching three girls during sleepovers his daughter hosted at their home. Prosecutors said Husbands lay on air mattresses with the girls and touched their legs and genitals. Husbands' defense attorney, Stephen Welsh, has said that the case is part of a custody battle between Husbands and his estranged wife, Kim, who also took the stand to testify. Husbands, 46, had also been charged with offensive touching, but that charge was dropped on the second day of the trial for lack of evidence.

Secret Recordings Fueled Mutinous FBI Investigation of Clintons Despite DOJ Orders To "Stand Down"

It's looking increasingly like there is an ongoing mutiny underway within the FBI as the Wall Street Journal is reporting that, according to "officials at multiple agencies", FBI agents felt they had adequate evidence, including "secret recordings of a suspect talking about the Clinton Foundation", to pursue an investigation of the Clinton Foundation but were repeatedly obstructed by officials at the Department of Justice.

Secret recordings of a suspect talking about the Clinton Foundation fueled an internal battle between FBI agents who wanted to pursue the case and corruption prosecutors who viewed the statements as worthless hearsay, people familiar with the matter said.

The roots of the dispute lie in a disagreement over the strength of the case, these people said, which broadly centered on whether Clinton Foundation contributors received favorable treatment from the State Department under Hillary Clinton.

Senior officials in the Justice Department and the FBI didn’t think much of the evidence, while investigators believed they had promising leads their bosses wouldn’t let them pursue, they said.

Despite clear signals from the Justice Department to abandon the Clinton Foundation inquiries, many FBI agents refused to stand down. Then, earlier this year in February 2016, the FBI presented initial evidence at a meeting with Leslie Caldwell, the head of the DOJ's criminal division, after which agents were delivered a clear message that "we're done here." But, as the WSJ points out, DOJ became increasing frustrated with FBI agents that were "disregarding or disobeying their instructions" which subsequently prompted an emphatic "stand down" message from the DOJ to "all the offices involved."

Trump Details Michigan Devastation Caused by Clinton’s Trade Policies: ‘We’re Living Through Greatest Jobs Theft in the History of the World’

“We’re living through the greatest jobs theft in the history of the world,” Donald Trump told thousands of Michigan voters on Monday.

During his two Monday rallies in the traditionally blue state of Michigan, Trump detailed the devastation its residents have experienced as a result of Hillary Clinton-backed trade deals.

“Hillary got rich selling your jobs – the same special interests who pushed the jobs out of America are the people who’ve given countless millions to the Clintons. Hillary gets rich making America poor,” Trump told supporters in Warren, Michigan. He added:

Just look at the devastation. Delphi, your area, laid off 3,627 workers right here in Michigan. Most of those jobs went to Mexico.

Benteler automotive laid off 233 Americans and sent those jobs to Mexico.

Steelcase laid off 870 workers; those jobs went to Mexico and Malaysia.

Autodie, once the biggest tool and die maker in the world, laid off 300 workers, getting smaller all the time.

Landlords Are Slashing Rents Across the Country. Haven’t You Noticed?

That's what it's like shopping for an apartments in dozens of U.S. rental markets, as landlords offer discounts on asking prices—even as rents remain at historic highs. In San Francisco, where median rents have marched upward for years, landlords reduced the listing price on 21 percent of listings in the 12 months that ended Sept. 30, according to a new report published by Trulia. That’s up from 14 percent of listings that were price-chopped last year.

In more than 40 cities across the country, including both hot spots like Denver and quieter markets like Tulsa, Okla., landlords cut prices on at least 10 percent of listings, the report said.

Ober and Bradshaw were taken into custody by Deputy State Fire Marshals without incident and transported to the Caroline County Commissioner where they were later released. Ober faces charges of impersonation in Talbot and Caroline Counties and Bradshaw faces the same charges in Dorchester and Caroline Counties.

The impersonation of a firefighter or emergency squad member is a misdemeanor and carries a penalty of 3 years in jail per charge.

The Maryland State Police and Caroline County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Office of the State Fire Marshal in the search and arrest warrants.

A Viewer Writes: Turbo-Charge Votes

Joe-

Can black folks 'turbo-charge' their vote?

It seems that the black voter turnout is down in early voting. The NYT is trying to blame the Republicans and attribute it to voter ID laws and reduced early voting hours, but who says that is the only time they would vote, or that it actually makes any difference at all? What a con job.

I think many of our black brothers and sisters are finally realizing that they've been had by the Democrats for decades, but they still don't feel comfortable going against the tradition of voting Democrat, so they just stay home.

The Dems are assuming (as they always do) that they will receive a large number of votes from their loyal black community. Staying home and not voting will reduce the number they actually receive and jeopardize their chance of winning.. but the black voter has the opportunity to have a much greater effect-- by casting a vote for REAL change and REAL hope, it will have DOUBLE the effect of just staying home.

For the black voter, it will result in: Clinton -1, Trump +1.. almost like getting to vote twice!

I hope our friends will push past their hesitancy to go against tradition and will CAST THEIR VOTE for the people who have been trying to help them for decades.

Or they can just stay home and hope somebody will eventually help them somehow.

I know what I would do if somebody put chains on me..

FBI Finds No Links Between Donald Trump and Russia

After a months-long, deep investigation into suspected foreign meddling in the U.S. election, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has determined that Donald Trump has no ties to the Russian government.

Federal officials conducted a wide investigation throughout the summer looking for financial connections between Trump and his operatives and the Russian government in connection with the hacking of Democrat party computers but found nothing, according to The New York Times.

Upon the conclusion of the investigation, the FBI decided that, contrary to claims by Democrats, the hacking may have been aimed at disrupting the election but was not intended to ensure the election of Donald Trump.

Hillary Clinton Says She Was in New York City on 9/11 (She Wasn’t)

Campaigning in Florida on Tuesday, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton claimed that she was in New York City on 9/11, when terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center. She made her claim while discussing terrorism and the threat posed by ISIS.

“I know what happened not far from here at Pulse night club in Orlando,” she said. “I was in New York City on 9/11 as one of the two senators. I will defeat ISIS. I will protect America.”

But Clinton wasn’t in New York on 9/11, according to Politico.

As a United States Senator she was in Washington D.C. at her home in Whitehaven when the first plane hit the World Trade Center. She spent most of the day reacting to the attacks in media interviews and joined her colleagues singing “God Bless America” on the Capitol Hill steps.

Who will Obama pardon?

There are plenty of candidates for the president’s final pay-off

Looking beyond the upcoming election to the last few days of Barack Obama’s legal status as a president, it’s interesting to speculate who he might pardon from their past criminal behaviors, whether indicted, convicted, incarcerated or released, or whether they are just under investigation. Typically, pardons are done on the very last day a president is in office — for good reason, in that they are arbitrary and unregulated political acts.

One one hand, the presidential pardon process is pure politics — Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon, for example — and on the other hand, it can express a general policy: We might see further evidence of President Obama’s views on the federal imprisonment of nonviolent drug offenders in the last batch of people he pardons.

Sometimes, it’s just family: Bill Clinton pardoned brother Roger Clinton for his drug conviction.

But we have also been through several recent and rather massive investigations of mostly political behaviors and alleged cover-ups that some believe involve criminal conduct at the margins, let alone other clear violations of law that have resulted in convictions, but nevertheless all of them in mostly political contexts.

Corruption and prosperity

When the rule of law is lost, even great nations disintegrate

What is the single most important determinate as to whether a country is rich or poor? It is not the level of government spending, taxation, regulation or monetary stability — even though those factors are very important. It is the rule of law, whereby the rules are known and fair, equally applied to all, and where corruption is not tolerated. The end of great countries and empires was most often caused by internal decay, not by foreign enemies — ancient Greece and Rome being prime examples.

The end of the Soviet Union and the communist countries in Eastern Europe had more to do with the pervasive corruption and lack of the rule of law within the regimes than external pressure. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, President Reagan and Pope John Paul II were able to topple the communist regimes largely with words because their foundations had become so rotten that the force of truth was enough to give the final push.

Highly corrupt countries are usually poor, and countries with the rule of law and low levels of corruption are usually relatively prosperous. The accompanying table lists the 10 richest countries in the world on a per-capita income basis. (Note: countries, such as Kuwait or Norway that have high per capita incomes because of oil and gas, and small, offshore financial centers, all of which lack broadly diversified economies, were not included). All of these listed countries also rank very high, being in the top 10 percent, when it comes to the rule of law and the lack of corruption. Scandinavian countries have higher incomes than would be expected, even though their governmental sectors and tax rates are well above the optimum; but this large disadvantage has been offset, in part, by the very low levels of corruption and strict adherence to the rule of law, without favoritism.

Rawlings-Blake: Safety of MTA buses may need to be examined after deadly crash

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said she would like to see the safety of public buses be re-examined after a deadly crash Tuesday in southwest Baltimore.

Six people were killed early Tuesday morning when a school bus collided with a Maryland Transit Administration commuter bus. An additional 10 people had to be transported to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to critical. Both bus drivers were among those killed.

Rawlings-Blake called Tuesday a "rough, rough day for the people of Baltimore City."

After seeing images of the crash, the mayor said she would like to examine the safety and durability of buses used by the MTA.

‘Biggest scandal in U.S. history about to break’

Investigative reporter who broke Hillary email bombshell reveals what's coming next

While the FBI and the Justice Department dig into some 650,000 emails on the computer of Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner, the man who reported back in August that Abedin was sending classified emails to her non-secure account is explaining how the trail leads to where we are now – and he predicts the “biggest scandal in U.S. history” is about to break loose.

Jerome Corsi, a senior staff writer at WND.com and author of “Partners in Crime,” first reported in late August that Abedin forwarded work-related emails to her private account after he scoured a report on emails from the watchdog group Judicial Watch.

“I was looking it over, and it hit me, ‘She just forwarded that email to herself. Why would she do that?’ I started looking, and I realized there had been about 300 emails released by Judicial Watch. I realized she forwarded 200 of them to herself,” Corsi told WND and Radio America.

Security officers warn of Huma Abedin’s tie to Saudis

Charge Hillary's closest aide has influenced foreign policy

The Muslim Brotherhood and Saudi ties of Hillary Clinton’s longtime aide and confidante Huma Abedin and her influence on U.S. foreign policy are spotlighted in a newly released documentary called “The Enemies Within.”

In a six-minute trailer of the documentary made available to WND (see below), former intelligence officers express their concern about Abedin’s background, including her position in her family’s institute, which was established by the Saudi government and supported by a prominent financial contributor to Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida.

Abedin has been in headlines since FBI Director James Comey announced Friday that the bureau reopened its investigation of Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information after discovering 650,000 of Abedin’s State Department emails on a computer owned by her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner, who is under investigation for allegedly sexting a minor.

Hillary’s ‘surrogate daughter’ tied to terrorists, 9/11 funders

Chilling video of Huma Abedin every American voter must see

For nearly 20 years, Hillary Clinton has had an extremely close working relationship with a young beauty who was raised in Saudi Arabia.

Hillary’s ties to Huma Abedin go so deep, it’s been said that the vice chairwoman of Hillary’s campaign is one of few people who knows where the proverbial Clinton “bodies are buried.”

In fact, Abedin, whom Hillary once called her “second daughter,” had direct access to classified national security information stored on Hillary’s unsecured email server. Abedin had served as Hillary’s deputy chief of staff at the State Department. And it’s been widely predicted that Abedin would serve as chief of staff if Hillary wins her race for the White House.

But who is this woman, and why is she privy to some of America’s deepest national security secrets?

The hacktivist group Anonymous released a stunning video laying out the scandalous details of Abedin’s background on Oct. 24. In just one week, the video has gone viral with 1.6 million views.

The Anonymous video details many of the stunning revelations WND has reported for years – including eye-opening details of Abedin’s ties to terrorists and funders of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Cotton: Clinton Foundation Looks Like 'Money Laundering Operation'

Sen. Tom Cotton heavily criticized the Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation during a Tuesday morning interview on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show.

Hewitt asked Cotton how quickly he believes the FBI could complete its new review of emails related to Clinton’s private email server.

“650,000 emails is a lot of emails,” the Arkansas senator noted. “But then again, when you use modern searching techniques, you might be able to winnow it pretty quickly.”

“You would think that even if it’s in the thousands, or tens of thousands, the FBI has enough agents that they could review them pretty quickly,” he continued. “A lot of these agents are pretty familiar with the subject material, having investigated the Clinton email server to begin with. Some of them, apparently, have been investigating the Clinton Foundation now for months.”

Emails show Clinton campaign coordinated with State Dept. official before email revelation

Newly released emails appear to show a State Department official coordinating with Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign before her use of a private email to conduct government business was revealed.

Emails from campaign chairman John Podesta show that the state official provided Clinton aides with the agency’s official response to a New York Times reporter in advance of the paper’s March 2015 report that Clinton had used a private email account to conduct business while serving as secretary of state.

WikiLeaks released the hacked emails Wednesday in part of a massive trove of emails disclosed by the whistleblowing website. The site has released new Podesta emails on a daily basis since October. WikiLeaks has indicated it intends to leak emails stolen from Podesta's account every day through the election.

In a March 1, 2015 email, State Department press aide Lauren Hickey told Clinton's spokesman Nick Merrill and two other advisers that then-State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki had "just cleared" a reply to the Times. Hickey provided the agency's response to the Clinton aides and also appeared to agree to a change requested by the campaign, saying: "Yes on your point re records - done below." It is not clear what specific change was requested and made.

FBI Said To Move To "Likely Indictment" Of Clinton Foundation, Fox News Reports

Roughly at the same time that the WSJ reported of what is now a clear "civil war" between (and within) the FBI and the DOJ, Fox News anchor Bret Baier reported that the FBI's investigation into the Clinton Foundation that has been going on for more than a year has now taken a "very high priority." He added that FBI agents have interviewed and re-interviewed multiple people on the foundation case, which is looking into possible pay for play interaction between then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation.
The FBI's White Collar Crime Division is handling the investigation, which will continue, as "there is a lot of evidence. And barring some obstruction in some way, they believe they will continue to likely an indictment."
I said sources described an "avalanche of evidence" in case & barring obstruction they'd likely continue 2 push to try for an indictment" https://twitter.com/lynnies2/status/793958830895988736
The news was cited by various traders as the catalyst that pressured the USD when it come out late on Wednesday.

"There is an avalanche of new information coming in every day," one source told Fox News, who added some of the new information is coming from the WikiLeaks documents and new emails.
