Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said she would like to see the safety of public buses be re-examined after a deadly crash Tuesday in southwest Baltimore.
Six people were killed early Tuesday morning when a school bus collided with a Maryland Transit Administration commuter bus. An additional 10 people had to be transported to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to critical. Both bus drivers were among those killed.
Rawlings-Blake called Tuesday a "rough, rough day for the people of Baltimore City."
After seeing images of the crash, the mayor said she would like to examine the safety and durability of buses used by the MTA.

ReplyDeleteWhen an elected official starts pointing at safety and durability of X, that means $$$ must come from somewhere. Prob is there is no additional revenue.
ReplyDeleteMy advice - Steph honey, get out while you can. A big Ess-storm sandwich is coming and you really won't be able to handle it.
Git while the gittin is good!
When was the last time she was on a bus?
ReplyDeleteShut up and go away. (map)
