Incident: Robbery
Date of Incident: Tuesday, November 29th, 2016
Location: Vintage Beer and Wine, 610 Snow Hill Rd. Salisbury, Maryland 21804
Suspect: Unknown
Narrative: On Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at approximately 1948hrs [7:48p.m.], the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the Vintage Beer and Wine located at 610 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, Maryland in reference to an armed robbery with a firearm.
Deputies learned through their investigation, two suspects entered the business demanding money. One suspect brandished a handgun during the incident. Money was taken from the cash registers before the two suspects fled the area.
Both suspects were described as tall, thin build, wearing all black.

Incident: Robbery
Date of Incident: Monday, November 28th
Location: 1000 block of Pierce Ave. Salisbury, MD 21804
Suspect: Unknown
Narrative: On Monday, November 28, 2016 at approximately 2355HRS [11:55PM], deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1000 block of Pierce Avenue in Salisbury, Maryland, in reference to a robbery with a firearm of a local food delivery driver. The victim was approached by two black males who demanded his money, food and cell phone. One of the suspects brandished a handgun during the robbery and later struck the victim in the back of the head with the handgun prior to fleeing the area.
The Salisbury City Police Department assisted deputies with the search, to include a K-9 track. Both suspects were described as black males, 5'6", 120-140lbs, 18-21 years of age.

Incident: Assault, Marijuana Distribution, Shooting Incident
Date of Incident: July 24th, 2016
Location: Cherry Beach Park, 100 Cherry Beach Road, Sharptown, MD
Suspect: Mitchell Ray Dayton, 28 years old, Mardela Springs
Narrative: On 07/27/16 the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office received information about a robbery and shooting that had occurred at the Cherry Beach Park, located at 100 Cherry Beach Road, Sharptown, Wicomico County, MD 21861. Wicomico County detectives were contacted to further investigate this case.
Detectives learned the following information:
During the weekend of July 22-24, 2016 Jeffrey Oliver Whitten, Bryan Floyd Blake and Logan Thomas Littleton conspired to commit a robbery of subjects selling a large amount of marijuana. Whitten initiated the contact with a subject, later identified as Mitchell Ray Dayton, in reference to buying the marijuana. The parties agreed on a price, and planned to meet at Cherry Beach Park on July 24th, 2016 at approximately 9:00 PM.
Jeffrey Whitten, Bryan Blake and Logan Littleton traveled to Cherry Beach Park, in a vehicle, and met with a marijuana dealer. During the interaction between the parties involved, Logan Littleton and Bryan Blake displayed a shotgun and an Kalashnikov rifle in a threatening manner and then demanded the marijuana from the dealer, Mitchell Dayton. Dayton complied and gave a large bag of marijuana to Whitten, Blake and Littleton. Whitten, Blake and Littleton then attempted to flee the parking lot, as Dayton and Littleton exchanged gunfire. Nobody was injured during the volley of gunfire.
Detectives were able to interview all of the parties involved. On July 29th, 2016, detectives were able to locate and arrest Whitten. Whitten was then transferred to the Wicomico County Detention Center. On July 30th, 2016 arrest warrants were issued for Logan Littleton and Bryan Blake in relation to this case.
On August, 1st 2016, the Maryland State Police Apprehension Team was able to locate and arrest Logan Littleton and Bryan Blake, in the State of Delaware. Both Littleton and Blake were transferred to the Wicomico County Detention Center. Furthermore, the detectives were able to recover two of the firearms used in the robbery and are identified as shotgun and a Kalashnikov rifle.
On November 15, 2016, Mitchell Ray Dayton was arrested and charged in relation to this incident. Dayton was later released from the Wicomico County Detention Center on $50,000 bond. This case is closed and all parties have been identified.
