SNOW HILL, Md. (AP) — A Maryland county prosecutor has been convicted of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.
A Worcester County jury on Friday convicted Cecil County State’s Attorney Edward Rollins III on one count each of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct but acquitted him on two similar charges.
Rollins will be sentenced later. Indecent exposure carries up to three years in prison and a $1,000 fine. Disorderly conduct is punishable by up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine.

I'm just going to say, it was Salisbury News who broke this story. As a matter of fact, it took THREE DAYS before ANY local media source would say anything about it at all. They were ALL going to cover it up until the pressure forced them to get on board. When they finally did get on board, one of their interviews was with Governor Hogan. Hogan chose to remove this Idiot from any chance of becoming a Judge. Our evidence was overwhelming. We were then contacted by an anonymous caller stating this Idiot was "sue happy" and would be coming after me. I laughed so hard because I said, you know that picture I put up on him naked, but blurred out? Don't think for a second I don't have a ton of other pictures that aren't blurry. We got a piece of crap States Attorney "exposed" while the rest of your local media tried desperately to cover it up.
ReplyDeleteJudging by your comment Joe,one would wonder how many incidents like this or worse get swept under the rug.
ReplyDeleteDid his wife who was there get charged as well? Is there such a thing as aiding to indecent exposure?
ReplyDelete9:01, Well, if you'll recall, it took quite some time, (DAYS) to get a press release and or see charges on this matter.
ReplyDeleteNow think about that for a minute. Local officials had ALL of the same evidence I had from the very beginning, INCLUDING a Police Officer who personally witnessed the creep doing the dirty.
The fact that the charges were delayed but the exposure exclusively for three days from Salisbury News forced them to come out with the evidence.
The nerve of this guy claiming it never happened like we said it did, LYING in court should throw this man out of his job immediately.
And people wonder why our country has gone to sh!t! Denying it never happened when there was not only witnesses but photographic evidence!
I say, my hat is tipped to the Judge for doing the right thing. Now Cecil County needs to FIRE this dirtbag. If a COP is caught LYING the officer can no longer testify in Court. Well, what about a States Attorney?
He will get off.
ReplyDeleteBudumm Tiss....
Reminds me of our two former State's Attorneys and they were both run out of office!
ReplyDeleteHe should have pled not guilty by reason of insanity. Don't get me wrong, he's guilty as he'll but he definitely had a compulsive disorder. Why else would he throw away everything like he did?
ReplyDeleteDirtbag for sure!
ReplyDeleteI've said it before and I will say it again, this is what you are the best at, exposing political corruption of all kinds. This pervert may have never been charged if you had not made it public. With all the corruption in politics today we need someone to keep them honest.
ReplyDeletePut him in the same cell with Anthony Weiner. LOL
ReplyDeleteHow can Wack Job Rollins have the nerve to remain in office as the chief law enforcement official in Cecil County. One of his responsibilities is bringing charges against others for alleged criminal law violations. How can this convicted pervert continue to make judgments about anyone else's conduct? His judgment is obviously extremely flawed and as a citizen of Cecil County, i wonder about some of the personnel decisions he has made in the States Attorneys Office. Hopefully, the Judges will act quickly to remove this dirt bag from office and off the public payroll!
ReplyDeleteNow that a Worcester County Jury has found Ellis Rollins guilty of indecent exposure, it is perhaps time to look for new leadership in the Cecil County State's Attorneys' Office. An excellent choice to lead the office into the future would be Michael Halter. Mr. Hallter served his country as a United States Marine, and has demonstrated leadership ability. He is a former member of the State's Attorney's Office, and he knows all of the employees in that office. In the last election for State' s Attorney, Mr. Halter ran against Ellis Rollins in the republican primary and warned about Rollins' character deficiencies. He was one of the few with the foresight to see the problems with Mr. Rollins and the way the office was run. That is why I believe Michael Halter would make an excellent State's Attorney. The
ReplyDeleteAs a citizen of Cecil County, I am still upset about the fact Ellis Rollins and his entire office were on a taxpayer funded jaunt to Ocean City when he decided to publicly expose himself. Not only that, but I understand spouses and/or significant others of his staff were paid also go to Ocean City at public expense. Therefore, I cannot agree more that we need someone like Mike Halter as Cecil County State's Attorney to clean up the mess in that office. He has the integrity and character to strictly uphold the law and make any difficult personnel decisions.
ReplyDeleteMIKE HALTER FOR STATE"S ATTORNEY OF CECIL COUNTY!
