Former Secret Service Agent Rips Band-Aid off 'Trump Security vs. Secret Service': 'It’s a Nothing-Burger'

On Monday morning, Politico ran a story about President-elect Donald Trump's private security detail and how that may affect his transition to the full-time use of Secret Service agents.

The news outlet seemed particularly concerned with his selection of Navy veteran, former NYPD cop, and long time personal friend Keith Schiller as his “body man” — essentially, his close personal aide and attache.

Politico called the move “unprecedented” and cited comments made by former Secret Service agent under President Obama, Jonathan Wackrow:

"It’s playing with fire. Having a private security team working events with Secret Service increases the Service’s liability, it creates greater confusion and it creates greater risk.

You never want to commingle a police function with a private security function. If you talk to the guys on the detail and the guys who are running the rallies, that’s been a little bit difficult because it’s so abnormal."

  1. I wouldn't trust any of the secret service connected to the obama administration.

  2. I have wondered who this Schiller guy was for a long time. Noticed he has been with Trump from the beginning and was at a big percentage of appearances. If you watched Schiller, he was like a bird dog, always dipper ducking. At one event when Trump was rushed off stage, Schiller was covering Trump ever foot of the way, while Schiller was spinning his head like a spinning top. I often thought he must have been Trump's own pick due to his attention given Trump. Again, good pick President-Elect Trump.

  4. The liberal media is the problem here. They just cannot come to grips with Trump's winning the election. It was not supposed to happen according to their manipulative playbook.

  5. I trust Trump to make the right decision in every situation. If he trusts Schiller that's all that matters.

  8. Right.
If John F. Kennedy had his own detail, maybe they would have ACTUALLY RODE ON THE RAILS OF THE CAR? Possibly, it would have been a bit more DIFFICULT for the CIA to murder him?

    Don't you think?

Of course, they don't want Mr. Trump to have private detail.
That will make their "job" more difficult.

  9. Trump deserves all of the security he wants. There are way too many crazy people that want to harm him.

  10. Yeah ok Schiller may have been with NYPD, but he isn't up for this task. Send him and a detail to look after Ivanka and her family and let the special forces guys protect the POTUS! Lets have the highly trained folks handle the real work! Schiller's private crew should stay at Trump Tower and keep the building secure.
