ReplyDeleteHey, its how it works in every county. The only ones that don't like it are the ones that don't know anybody, or have no connections. Then they have to hire a lawyer that they HOPE has the right connections with the court.

ReplyDeleteWell, You guys keep voting for the status quo in the North end of the County so what do you expect? No one mentioned that Kirk is the County attorney and his Brother is the North District Commissioner.
Did you "Know" he also gets 'free' Health Insurance from the County paid for with tax dollars? He's a 'Contractor and they DON'T do that for ANY OTHER CONTRACTOR on County property.

Why is anyone surprised? Really? The 4 big families who intermarry in this county and control everything will continue to do so for generations to come.It's disgusting to see an entire family run a courthouse....its clear there is no justice for anyone outside that loop.
ReplyDeletePeople pissed and moaned about Sheriff Jones but he did care about people! The courts are here to collect money,not give justice. The drug dealers run this county and that could explain how "old money" stays wealthy.
We have had another OD death in Crisfield and the main heroin dealer here operates freely,which leads me to believe that the sheriffs department and local police are being heavily paid off to allow him to continue his widespread heroin ring.Everytime an "investigation" or "sting" is pulled off on this gang,the lower level dealers get time and Mr. Kingpin emerges from the whole thing shiny clean.When police do not put away dealers,one has to assume they are being paid off by them not to.This whole county is screwed and will continue to be as long as the same crookery and good ole boy crap is allowed.Joe,if you dug around a little,you would be shocked at what goes on.
