Young unmarrieds to pay at least $2,485 annually for Obamacare

Obama plans tax credits to help ease economic pain caused by increases

Young singles in their twenties earning an annual salary of $30,000 or more will pay at least $2,484 a year in Obamacare premiums even after receiving tax credits from the federal government, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation’s health insurance marketplace calculator.

The calculator estimates the cost of health insurance premiums and subsidies for individuals purchasing Obamacare silver plans by considering various metrics including income, age and family size.

For a single, non-smoking adult aged 21 to 29 with no dependents, the U.S. average premium for those making an annual salary of $30,000 is $207 a month, or $2,485 annually, even after receiving subsidies from the federal government.

  1. My bill is 12K and I get a 2K subsidy.
    What a joke.
I am so tired of this sick propaganda.

  2. My bill is $23000, yes $23000, up from $7000 3 years ago, for lower coverage. Thank you Mr.Obama.

  3. 7:03 I feel your pain. I cry at night. There is no way to resolve this. I either work 3 jobs at the age of 58 or go without insurance.

I do not make enough to cover it.
My employer only cares about himself.
I honestly do not know what to do to solve this.
There is nothing more I can turn off in the house.

And then I see those pigs on welfare with a full cart of food, and I have 5 items. I see the drug dealer on the corner of E Church spend his day drinking and lounging on the porch, probably covered by Welfare and Medicaid. I have a neighbor down the street, where ALL of them are on SS disability, fraudulently, without a care in the world, also on Medicaid and welfare.

White poverty isn't as pretty as black poverty, where they clearly have the privilege.
